Yep all had an I6, but only some of those I6s i liked ... i hated the S54D Griff wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2019 10:07 pmmax225 wrote:

But I think the only kind of missing element to mine is the inline 6 which yours have all had.
I haven't driven enough to compare. The Turo E90 I had was a 328xi in kind of meh mechanical condition. My car is definitely way better. I'd love to drive an E46 M3 and considered getting one but bailed due to maintenance.

As far as I know hybrids gets into an engine mode above 25 mph. I have also driven in philly, where you essentially had to do a 0-30 sprint nearly every light. I've noticed the same with hybrid cabs in NY and uber where I can hear the engine, so that alone might be a possibility. The only was you can reach advertised mpg in a city like DC or philly, is you have to either piss off people behind you or drive during 3 AM when there's barely cars on the road.max225 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 10, 2019 2:42 pmDo you drive a hybrid with a huge battery?MexicanYarisTK wrote: ↑Sun Mar 10, 2019 2:13 pm

It’s what happens when you don’t pay attention while driving it. I get 50 mpg city 40 highway when I drive it.MexicanYarisTK wrote: ↑Sun Mar 10, 2019 3:57 pmAs far as I know hybrids gets into an engine mode above 25 mph. so a legit question, say when you floor it at 10 mph, goes it kicks into engine mode with electrical power assist? That's what i've noticed in priuses and the like.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Sun Mar 10, 2019 6:47 pmIt’s what happens when you don’t pay attention while driving it. Yes. And it'll get to 60 about 2-3 seconds faster than a Prius.MexicanYarisTK wrote: ↑Sun Mar 10, 2019 7:57 pmso a legit question, say when you floor it at 10 mph, goes it kicks into engine mode with electrical power assist? That's what i've noticed in priuses and the like.

They must be great freeway cruisers. I’m always getting passed by them when I’m going 80. The balls on those people not giving a fuck. Between them and the bmws playing frogger/passing on the shoulder it’s a darwin competition. I should really get a dash cam for my soviet commutes home.

Got gas today 15.1 gallons. Yet another 0 miles to empty tank less than a week after the last one. I hate filling up this car, I have this other annoying issue of the pump stopping 30+ times during the fill up process. I really wish I had an electric car for commutes. If BMW made a M2/M3 type electric performance car with a 250+ mile range for 60-70k I'd get one today. FUCK GAS STATIONS.

Way to live life on the razor's edge. When the San Andreas fault cuts California in half, I'll have gas to get home and load my guns to fend off the looters. You will killed by roving gangs.max225 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 13, 2019 7:28 pmYou rang ?

I think I have about 70 miles to E right now, will probably fill up o n the way home this evening.
I occasionally have that issue in the C5 where the pump clicks off numerous times. It's some kind of evap issue. I resoldered a sensor IIRC, which fixed it 90% of the time but it still happens once in a blue moon.
