The world makes zero sense.
Right? That car is a ragged out mess as well.
Leaking trans, ripped seats, faded paint. And that's just the obvious...
I can't imagine how that thing drives... It must be an absolute shitbox. But obviously looks great for the gram.
They hacked up what's probably a $5k car TOPS, made it look "cool" and sold it for $16k. What in the fuck. It'll drive like shit, get way worse FE, probably break parts that weren't designed to do what they're doing, AND it still won't really go off-road anywhere. Completely 100% stupid and worthless ruining of a car.

Makes me want to start buying cheap crappy cars, taking my sawzall to them, slapping too big off-road tires on, and selling for a massive profit.

Curious what this goes for, I like it a lot. 323i is slow as :balls: though.

I need to get my title and sell the :poorvette: first (waiting on NCDMV at the moment).

I was shopping used WRX recently... they are dumb, it's like save $500 versus new for ever 20K miles. :nope:

Yea, it makes no sense. The :dillerman: that had that one I just posted also had new ones for the same price advertised. Why buy the used one? Who does that?

When I was buying my TDI in 2011, used ones were MORE than new. And the :dillerman: was claiming "They have better warranty". Like :wat:

Those were about 35-36k new.
So there is at least some kind of a discount. Also everyone hates these seats here … because they are “not real recaros” but I really liked them.

The Recaros aren't horrid, although they certainly aren't HypeR seats, but the base seats are terribad.

Oh, so the price at least isn't more than new.

I just somehow missed these. I think it looks neat, I'm even more interested in the seats because I'm not really a fan of "real" Recaros in a DD street car.

They are great, dude so I just sat in a camaro and golf R Back to back. Fuck the bolsters in the R they are no where near as comfortable as the maro. Those seats will be great for a DD.

Back to pricing
Wrx starts at like 26k but that’s cloth seats and horrendous interior… and disgusting wheels, no keyless and candle in the wind headlights and 4 speaker stereos.
Premiums/limited cost a bit more around 32/34k and there are some “port options” I drove one with a 37k msrp. And that was years ago… so it’s probably about +2k in each scenario.

Imo that wrx is not priced terribly. I also prefer the 2.slow over the 2.5 in the sti … I really didn’t like the powerband of the 2.5… it’s like 2500-3000 usable rpm… vs 4000-4500 in the wrx. But the 2.5 sounds way better, and that’s really hard to ignore in a sporty car.

Interesting. That car is 10 minutes from my house, maybe I should go take a look at it for :science:

Wife said she'd never entertain a WRX because of the childish image, but this thing fixes that. I've always wanted a WRX, just wish new ones were possible as hatch. But as something fun to cruise around town in, this would be great.

And it all makes sense now. :nope:

Somehow it's Subaru CPO too :lolol: more evidence that "CPO" is worthless.

How does one crash the front of the car twice in 2 years of ownershit and that car has accident avoidance also. Just a whole lotta wtf. It looks like one of them replaced the entire front end

Clearly a moran owner. Front end collisions are almost entirely avoidable, especially with collision intervention. This thing had had a hard life, sadly. Might be ok, but those carfax black marks arent going anywhere

Yea there is something really weird going on… looks
Like accident #1 before it was sold…
#2 completely fucked it at 9500 miles and it was towed from the scene.

Also one oil change on record at 3000 miles and the other at 19k miles … nothing else from a service perspective. :disgust: these engines have high maintenance requirements.

These are great cars. I had a silver 97 for a year. Even at 150k miles it felt completely like a newer car. I was shocked because all my other vehicles felt worn out by then.
It was also the best sounding 4 banger I have ever driven
