From what I can tell by the plates, the inspection sticker, he just regret buying it and have some :moran: deal with the issues. I'm pretty sure he doesn't live in the neighborhood because I'm familiar with that area and you can't find houses less than $400k in that area.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Tue Sep 24, 2019 2:13 pmAlso Le sigh on the S500 badging. If you look up The Straight Pipes they did a GoRf to Stingah review and said it was pretty even between the two when considering automatics, but an MT GoRf might edge it out. Supposedly they thought the Korean was more fun to drive.dubshow wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2019 4:45 pmI could get an insane deal on the GTS stingah in ernge.. Lifetime warranty probably only covers the engine block itself and absolutely nothing else.
Also. Guess they sweetened the pot to 13?

The YARRRRR is also front wheel drive with the rears gently pushing sometimes whereas Stingyboi is RWD with the fronts helping when needed.
Both will rattle I should drive one for science.

I guess. Maybe we have different "rattle" thresholds. My M3 rattled far more than my TDI ever did, but that's just what happens on dubs with sporty tires. I would take neither in for any of it. The mk 7.5 was quite refined more so than the WRX and STI I drove..

55k MSRP is laughable though... no one wants a Kia sports car. That's going to have a 20k carmax trade in, in 2 years.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2019 5:06 pm This juan has $14,500 on the hood for a loaded GT2 in bukkake white with anal whistles

And that's ok i think... sporty shitty unsettles things... unless you want a cocoon. At which point you go like a used E350... speaking of, my buddies 2016 has a nasty wind noise at 75 somewhere in the windshield area... for no reason... cars have issues.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2019 5:18 pmYes my STI rattles too.max225 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2019 5:11 pm

Part of me is really really curious how the STI would be with a tune for the throttle and different dampers that could soak up bullshit better. All my research leads me to not believe the hype, that all the suspension kits lower the car and would therefore increase spring rates and ultimately make it worse over bad roads...
Sigh. I won't do anything to it. I would entertain owning a next gen if it comes with an automatic that's any good.

The next gen would probably hit 50k... I am You're willing to spend that kind of coin on something that will get backed into.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2019 5:36 pmPart of me is really really curious how the STI would be with a tune for the throttle and different dampers that could soak up bullshit better. I hear good things about the Billstein coilskies, but not having ridden in one, i have no idea ... STI was in fact quite stiff. No way around it unless you're willing to roll on balloon tires and have major bodyroll.
Well... get it for $40K and it is the same ownershit cost as a new 328i, my FO paid $4XK and then obviously sold it for less than $20K after 15k miles, unless the dealer lost money on it.max225 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2019 5:12 pm55k MSRP is laughable though... no one wants a Kia sports car. Yep one of the quickest ways to set money on fire, and also why I am saying monthlies are such a difficult thing to understand for most people.
That 328i is 1k a month in depreciation in the first two years. Not the $400 payment you got on stretch pay.

Speaking of 328i's ... sub 5k cars for clean ones now... E90s have hit rock bottom.

Doesn't someone make a more rally-focused suspension setup? That would beJohnny_P wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2019 5:36 pmPart of me is really really curious how the STI would be with a tune for the throttle and different dampers that could soak up bullshit better.
