If this question was asked in 2019, I would say yes. But right now, given the infrastructure has weaked for tourists, especially by risking the black market for currency exchange. Reconsideration is in my thought for the very least.
I saw clubs, bars, restaurants, and so on. And there's still some people who pretty much lives just like how any westerners would. Also I've been there once when I was 13 and it was 5/7, I had a bunch of friends that went there recently as well. It was full of life, just like I remember it. So yeah I actually miss it.
That being said, I'm hoping covid is donezo by next summer, assuming there will be a huge tourist boom which may be easier for me (and other intl. visitors) to visit compared to now.
Covid ain’t going anywhere I don’t think.
this is the new normal at that point lebanon will pretty much be like venezuela
Literally the only thing that stops this is the entire world needs to be in lock down for 2-3 weeks, maybe a little more. That sucks donkey ass, but this has proven to be the only way, parameters or not.

I've heard that Beirut used to be an place to visit once upon a time. Too bad it's become the shit hole that it currently is, and I hope it can come back one day.
While this is undeniably true, it won't come back to its former glory anytime soon, even worse if this covid shitshow won't stop as soon as we hope for with the variants and such.

What's his hourly rate? Same dude that wanted $700 for the rear air vents on the CLS to work right?
Truth be told the ENTIRE HVAC system never worked right.........a major factor in sale. On the other hand the HVAC on the E 350 throws snowballs.
Why do you hate me?

I am trying to save you the headaches of having 2 MB's that are well over 10 years old in your fleet, that are technically from the worst ever reliability era of MB. I love those cars but you don't wrench on them yourself... and doubling down seems rather futile. The "unreliable" bmw will likely still be good for another 5-6 years.

Fair counter point. But you special ordered this bish and paid retail ? You know the car and the history. Why trade it on the devil you don’t know ? Arguably the Efivefiddy is no better performance wise than the beema. And will likely cost +20% in fuel alone
I think Eric should Peter Poon the fuck out of it and get some badass lease for a year @$800/month. It will be cheaper than either thing in question and probably better (if there are even leases out there to take over anymore ).

It has 12K miles on it and the Carfox shows regular work at Mercedes shops. How much devil can there be? I know it's old but damn dude it is basically brand new. That 5.5 pulls like an ox, and there are numerous examples with over 150K miles on them. Car is fast. No doubt fake sport corners better even with Don't care about fuel costs, my daily commute is 10 miles.
