This is why I bought my 86 new, just so that I can say that I paid the extra for the right car in the right color with the right options at least once in my life. Otherwise a used 2017 BRZ series.yellow would have been a much better purchase.

But let me know if you have any questions, I'm up to almost 1.5 years with this car.
I kinda fail to see how this is better than the 328i which was cheaper... same weight, more usable, sae pretty much everything. But again, I haven't driven a 2 series to really know if it's better. I can say an 86 drives about 86X better than my 328i IMO.troyguitar wrote: ↑Wed Mar 04, 2020 4:02 pm A plain old base 228i con and sport seats sounds nice to me, especially in orange on gray. Jesus, 37k for a 4 cylinder 3 year old last gen 3 series? I posted sedans for 50% less than that.dubshow wrote: ↑Wed Mar 04, 2020 5:12 pm Wife is in love with the 330i wagoon. M sport package is pretty nice. 360 cameras and all.

same car, same engine, same interior same chassis even. just cuz it has 2 less doors doesn't make it more sporty... I say 3 series is the way to go. Not like the current 3 is BIG anyways.D Griff wrote: ↑Wed Mar 04, 2020 6:27 pmI kinda fail to see how this is better than the 328i which was cheaper... same weight, more usable, sae pretty much everything. 2 has quite a bit shorter wheelbase and maybe a narrower width as well but 0-60 is the same.max225 wrote:same car, same engine, same interior same chassis even. just cuz it has 2 less doors doesn't make it more sporty... I say 3 series is the way to go. Not like the current 3 is BIG anyways.

Gotta see if it is worth while, you gain seating for 4 normal sized humans, a much larger trunk and a larger gas tank. At the sacrifice of maybe 100lbs and a shorter wheelbase. Rest doesn't matter really, everything is interchangeable between those two cars. Pick a size and call it a day. Seems foolish to give up 50% more practicality over maybe 2-3% loss in performance if that.troyguitar wrote: ↑Wed Mar 04, 2020 7:16 pm2 has quite a bit shorter wheelbase and maybe a narrower width as well but 0-60 is the same.max225 wrote:

I guess what I am trying to say is, I see 0 reasons to pay a premium over a 3 series.
