Some autos hit the low 30’s mark but that was rock bottom for them.
NFW Would I buy an auto 911. Need the engagement that only a :manuel: can offer.

Turbros seem to be going back up in value, along with 4S. The rest seem to be pretty attainable still.
The 4S gets you :datass: but even the narrow bodies have curves. Hint, you can fit a 285 up front with some massaging.

I’d be perfectly happy with a base C2.
:manual: all the way on it too.

This is what I'm keeping an eye out for. A :manuel: base C2 in an actual color for under $20k has me intrigued.

They’re out there. Mileage shouldn’t be a massive concern for you, so something will pop up sooner or later.

996 Turbros can be had in the upper $30k to low $40k range. I can't imagine they'll ever go down much more. Would love one.
Yep. Endorsed.

I'm not the type that cares about mileage if it's been well cared for mechanically. I don't even care if it's a bit banged up cosmetically.

I haven't been looking much at all because I just don't have a ton of desire for another car to sit around. Detroit blows.

If I had a garage I'd buy a 99 base car and put some good parts on it, NFG about appreciation. They're cheap enough that you can just drive the thing and enjoy it.

I don't even care about the wang or the exterior color. Give me :manuel: and not black inside and I'll fix the rest.

I am even OK with black exterior if it's tan inside. That's classic 911 IMO.

In4some people get 996 cars to see if they are shitboxes or not.

I sort of covet a 997 more. I always become scared of the costs of keeping up a Porsche. It is kind of a perfect car for me though, better daily than a C5 but still kind of does the same things.

996s are really affordable :notbad:

Basically my C5 + $8K could get me a nice one.

A CTS-V came with the LS6 standard a few years later and can be had for low-to-mid teens. This thing makes absolutely zero sense and will sell for a fortune because BAT.

I should have bought a 996 years ago. I didn't because of the IMS thing, and being an only car, chance of catastrophic engine failure wasn't really my thing.

Cool cars. Sound great. I don't have experience driving one, but the 997 C2S was pretty rad, so I imagine a 996 C2 would be fun as well.

I guess I am the only one here that just doesn't get these cars at all. They do nothing for me. I'd rather have a C5.

Maintained by Musante? I’d buy that car sight unseen, ZFG.
