Has Elio even sold a vehicle yet?

no.
try closer to 2k. once you have a car and gear. Our first race was nearly 3k per member in 2010.
entry is 1500 or so and if you want to be fast you need at least once set of sticker tires at about 1k. add in fuel, food, and lodging if not camping... it gets pricey real quick. See 's comment eluding to 'why not just build a regualt NASA TT car for a little bit more'

Quite tempting.

Cliffs:
Turn in Concepts bottom end
DOM 1.5 XTR-R turbo
ALL the supporting mods, but tuned on 93. Made 370whp on TiC's heartbreaker of a dyno (~420whp on a dynojet) and would probably do at least 50 more on E85. Would keep the GTI or maybe eventually the RDX as a daily, and this would be only the weekend whip. Plenty of rear seat space for a kiddo or two, and would be stupid fun.

For a fun thing to tinker with, this would be fun. Too bad it's not a hatch.coogles wrote: ↑Thu Jun 06, 2019 2:10 pm Quite tempting.

But something modded to this level will require constant tinkering. I personally like that, which is why I modded the hell out of my , but you should consider that going into it.

Yeah, no doubt it'd require pretty regular tinkering and trouble-shooting. I'm with you, though, that's part of the fun. Plus Turn in Concepts is only about 2 hours away if something were to happen that I can't handle.
