yeah if you order it. I can imagine what would do if he was in the market and probably make a video about it.dubshow wrote: ↑Sun Mar 10, 2019 10:16 pmVW will paint an R any color you wanttroyguitar wrote: ↑Sun Mar 10, 2019 4:37 pm I want a purple charger even though they're way too big. Evidently there were only 250 "slots" allocated for the US and they're gone? Something like that
He was going to get HighlighteR which would be so awesome.

I like 6+ cylinder NA stuff for the noises. My next move, whenever that may be, will be for something that sounds cool and hopefully looks cool too. For now I'm oddly happy with the MKZ.

This vid compares my two contenders for the next whip (the dude is pretty long winded doe)..... really sucks that the hatch isn't available over here but I am assuming the coupes performance is similar.....

Ever driven one? They're fantastic. Basically like performance in a better size, while being much more usable day to day with backseats, no scrape, better ride/interior.
I actually find them to be rather attractive and better than the two series, but I'm obviously.
Yeah I can just never get on bored with the tank-esque nature of those cars. Too bad, because they're great in most every other way.troyguitar wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2019 11:13 amThe V6 with the sport exhaust sounds better than the V8. I'd consider a green one but probably never because of the mail slot trunk opening and tank windows.CaleDeRoo wrote:

I should drive one, for sometime. Maintenance on the N54/55 is something I'm a little about. On paper they seem like fantastic machines.

Srsly tho I'd avoid the N54 completely. If the N55 is too expensive still, then a 128i would be my pick.

The tank view, I wonder how bad it really is when you're driving. The interior ergonomics in general are horrific too. Final complaint is no folding side mirrors (matters only to me I guess). Otherwise they're fantastic cars.D Griff wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2019 11:17 amYeah I can just never get on bored with the tank-esque nature of those cars. Probably not in a nursing home. You would want a car that sent NO MESSAGE, not one of affluence, not one of poverty. Something like Troy is currently driving.
He is looking at Golf R which is probably the ticket... fun, great car but very understated and unassuming to those not "in-the-know" about such things.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2019 12:38 pmProbably not in a nursing home. I've driven a few examples of the last gen and it is horrific in my opinion. I am 6'2" all torso and the door sills are at like shoulder level, you can't see all that well, but even worse it's just awful and claustrophobic. I'm told the newest ones are better, I'd love to give one a whirl sometime.
If I decide to go for the one car route, pretty much Civic Type R, FoRS, Camaro, Mustang are the only things that are good daily drivers you can beat on at the track here and there.

Eh, I'd go sell some plasma and find the money for the N55. You get the EPIC brakes with the obvious other benefit of having a car with balls. The 128i is a cute as a bug secretary-mobile. It is also highly prized by the poverty gay community here.
