I don't see how a smaller nimbler car is "less fun" to drive? The mustangs are giant boats. Which is their biggest downfall. I am about depreciation, they are both equal at this point in time. GT350s are high 40s used as are M2s.
2020 Supra-Why I think it is half assed.

The GT350 is over 500 hp, don't remember the exact number. M2 is a tuned Supra motor.
I mean, I actually like the M2 a lot, but the Mustang has got to be more interesting to drive. Different strokes I guess, drama free cars are boring to me, even if very capable. Where the hell is Johnny P to back me up on this?

No it isn't The 16-18 M2 was a "tuned" supra motor the 19+ models have the M3 motor, with twin turbos etc. Drive an M car please they are far different from the run of the mill bmws. Same difference as comparing a GT350 to a V6 performance package mustang. They are leagues apart.D Griff wrote: ↑Fri Jan 18, 2019 5:08 pmThe GT350 is over 500 hp, don't remember the exact number. There are more than a few reviews complaining the Voodoo consumes way too much oil. Much in the manner of BMW M V8s.

The power differencial is no where near the "advertised" figues.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Fri Jan 18, 2019 5:44 pmThere are more than a few reviews complaining the Voodoo consumes way too much oil. Much in the manner of BMW M V8s.
The Mustang is advertised at 526 and its puts down 470
The current M2 is advertised at 410 and puts down 440 to the wheels (if it wasn't detuned over the M3 which it shouldn't have been) and more torque than the stang. The M2 is actually the more powerful car of the two when you consider power to weight and the power curve.

I'd get the GT350 if I was a Ford nut, owned classic Mustangs or other Ferds, etc. It'a a notable mustang. But an M2 is a legit DD car than hauls major ass. If they offered a "big tank" option on that betch I would be a taker doe.

After spending some time in the stang.... I think it is more deservant of the 2.3+10AT than the 5.2 vodoo. The car itself is just very "cheap" feeling. Everything wears quick, is made to some kind of cheap budget etc.
It makes a great cruiser at 25-35k MSRP anything over that ... it starts to play with the big boys that are actually nice places to be inside etc.

The 13.2 gallon tank is just a whole lot of then again the mustang has a 15.5 gallon tank and gets likely far worse mpg than the M2.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Fri Jan 18, 2019 5:54 pm I'd get the GT350 if I was a Ford nut, owned classic Mustangs or other Ferds, etc. It'a a notable mustang. Both are wholly unacceptable given the ridic engines they are supplying.max225 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 18, 2019 5:58 pmThe 13.2 gallon tank is just a whole lot of then again the mustang has a 15.5 gallon tank and gets likely far worse mpg than the M2.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Fri Jan 18, 2019 5:54 pm I'd get the GT350 if I was a Ford nut, owned classic Mustangs or other Ferds, etc. It'a a notable mustang. Everyone over 22 should delete their gram. The only gas station photos I take is the price of E85 for the srt. Its a big middle finger. Its like 2.50 a gallon. Gas is cheap too. Loving it. In honesty the Z will be much less costly to operate as well.max225 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 20, 2019 2:00 pmCompares nicely to a Nissan from 2009 for 10k lessDavestr wrote: ↑Sun Jan 20, 2019 1:20 pm https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/news/2020 ... olet-ford/

they just bought Supra VIN 20201 for a cool $2.1 million. That might seem like an excessive premium on a car that will have a base MSRP of $50,920, but beyond the cool factor of owning the first example, the entire bid will benefit the American Heart Association and the Bob Woodruff Foundation. The Supra has also been signed by Toyota CEO Akio Toyoda—a neat extra.
