I got alpo eyes in that I don't need contacts.
:alpo: eyes? My FIL is 71 years old and still doesn't need any glasses or contacts of any kind. Not when he drives, no readers, nothing. :mindblown:
Wow. My long range vision is 20/10 but the old man readers thing has come down on me HARD in the last 3 years. I now have a pair of those things everywhere. And a folding pair in my pocket.
Low light conditions and tiny menu print leave me in a huge bind without them.

You aren't kidding. My normal vision sucks so I've been a contact wearer forever but my up close has gone to shit in the last couple years. I hate the idea of eating out because I can almost never read the menu in dim lighting. I've got a ton of readers too. Might just have to switch over to glasses full time since progressives work so well. I just find it weird to drive with glasses, it's like a weird tunnel vision effect or something with the peripheral being out of focus.

Ha!

I bought three of those 2-packs about a month ago. Keep a pair in the car, one in the jeep, one at work at my desk and a few floating around the house. Love the case and extending arms on the glasses.

VERY common as one approaches their 50's. My FIL indeed has :unicorn: eyes. Me, I've been nearsighted since my early teens so I've been wearing progressive bifocals for several years now.

1) Happy birthday
2) :notsure: if sarcasm or sincere but I'm trying to be a bro, not a dick. It's important and really not a big deal. What tipped it in for me is when my primary doc told me something to the effect that once a white Murican male reaches 50, and doesn't/hasn't smoke/d, we don't die from that many things, but colon cancer is one of those things so if we can stay ahead of it it increases our chances of living longer and healthier and without a :poop: bag strapped to our leg. :like:

I turn 49 in 19 days and don't look forward to this... although, my friend told me he did his earlier this year, kind of... Said they now do a DIY kit that you send in a stool sample and they pre-screen you. If you need a scoping they let you know, otherwise your Dr. lets you know everything looks okay.

If I'm being honest, I'm much more comfortable shitting in a baggy or whatever then mailing it off.
