I think the SI's are made in Canada, all hatchbacks are made in the UK. And all other sedans are made in the US. I am part of the "WHY DO I KNOW THIS" CRUB. :hubba:

$24.9K OTD, Bloo. No other options really, so that's kinda the whole :dill:

Hopefully I'll be picking up Friday.

I do/did to some minute degree, there is a Honda supply that I support locally. They stamp and weld some of the body parts like the firewall/dash, etc and are one of the few suppliers that can hot-stamp the really high strength stuff.

Cars I've personally worked on built locally or machines exported abroad, skipping some stuff ( :whocares: ):

Crown Vic, Windstar, Edge, Civic, MDX, Corolla, Rav4, RX350, VW Passat (exported machine), Charger/Challenger/300/Magnum, Caravan, Camaro (when it was here), Some smaller buick, Impala.... so no worries guys, car should hold up at least as well as those others 😬

Regular civic sedans built here too. There might be two factories building the civic sedan since it has a massive market.

I think new is definitely the right way to go here with a 60+ mile commute. Si should be fun!

Coupe or sedan?

Thanks y'all. I am excited, still feeling good about it after sleeping on it.

It is indeed the sedan. I didn't really fit in the coupe comfortably head room wise.

:doge: roams all over the car and scratches up the door plastics trying to get out the window :disgust: . She can ride in the Fusion.

Yeah I will get one eventually. They are :waxer: :doe: , so I'll likely just use the :poorvette: for bike transport for now. I've been :troywax: to the max lately so I need to cool it a bit:

-new Shitvic for new commute
-new cell phone/plan (have to relinquish the iTrude to my old company)
-track day the other week which required new brake rotors and oil change, tore up tires, and burned the usual $100 in fuel, plus $250 reg fees
-bought gas grill because epic half off post Labor Day deal and I'll be home every night now so I wanted it
-bar "bills" have been really high because I've been home a lot and people keep having birthdays and shit

:troywax: :troywax: :troywax:
:troywax: :wasteful: :troywax:
:troywax: :troywax: :troywax:

My monthly take home is about to go up about 70% for the first three months with the guaranteed commission but I'm planning to save all of the extra during that time since I can't yet predict what commission will look like after that.

Roof racks are very expensive this is true. Adaptable to other cars tho.

Sucks about the dog. Josie usually just stands on the center armrest and surfs and drools on my shoulder lol.

Yeah, no pics right now, I'm in Pittsburgh and don't yet have possession of the car, but it'll look exactly like that.

Well, if I came up for a driving thing/track day at Summit Point, I'd still take the :poorvette: .

I am actually a bit bummed you were so fast to pull the trigger on this... I was curious about the slanted H and all.

not all of us hate ourselves so much that we agonize over trivial life decisions for 6 months.

Well, the car doesn't exist... so that's the main thing.

But, the Civic is:

-lighter
-has LSD
-better resale
-more usable car
-I just really liked driving it, it felt "right" to me

:dillerman: wouldn't get me the car and there weren't even any :manuel: Velosters anywhere near me to try out.

I didn't want this to be a six month thing, I start this job in a week and a half and I'll be on the road leading up to that point.

Not that it really matters, but the Si is heavier and slower. The LSD and quicker steering rack probably more than make up for the difference :doe:

A full second slower for the Si in real-world 5-60 mph might make a difference? :iono:

It's actually about as quick at legal speeds as the :manuel: :turboyaris: which seems :notbad: plus 400 lbs lighter.
