Didn’t max equate buying a Hyundai to contracting Ebola?
Why is he upset you didn’t test drive one?

I test drove five cars Friday and was just open and honest about my intention. "I'm not buying today, I'm buying soon, I am comparing different models to decide which I'd like to go with". It's awkward when the is so far from a car guy that they have no understanding of why you'd want to "try out different cars" but I got no pushback whatsoever and they were all cool about it. I also drove pretty hard through some on ramps and stuff, NFG. Just say "I'm going to take this corner hard, that is the entire point of this vehicle so I want to see what it's like" or something like that.

Slanted H for 40k+ tax after a few options... um... and epic resale value... the true cost of ownershit will be more than a comparably leased german car for 3 years.KYGTIGuy wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 6:07 pm What about a Genesis? West Nileish?

looks decent just makes no sense. That's like buying a $2000 timex watch. At the end of the day... it's just a timex, regardless of the features.

Remember, the current civic is exactly the same size as the early 2000's Accord. So yah, accord is huge. I also found my rental camry to be quite large too.

The V8 Hyundai Genesis sedan from 2012 or so to present is an amazing used value, but a new Genesis seems like a terrible idea.max225 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 6:23 pmSlanted H for 40k+ tax after a few options... um... and epic resale value... the true cost of ownershit will be more than a comparably leased german car for 3 yeras.KYGTIGuy wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 6:07 pm What about a Genesis? The interior quality of the Genesis is lower than BMW and WAY LOWER than Benz in terms of the leather holding up. Most Genesis of the era we're talking about, even well kept, have thrashed driver seat leather at the minimum.

Same engine, better chassis, larger car, more shit in it, a volume knob, leather seats, and the automatic, for same price as the Simax225 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 5:40 pmThis is the best quote so far.
EX-L 1.5 with a CVT. Comes loaded with everything you need (other than dignity). Leather, all active/passive safety tech. Blah blah.. 30,875 msrp, ~25,988 selling price. ~5k off. on a brand new car/model. Because ain't nobody buying sedans.
Griff should check one of these out.

Could be worth asking. This is a 2.0T model. So big dick Type R engine too. $31k list, $26k sail?
