I’d be looking at about 7 grand to get my Z71 to be the baby version of that. Flares, front bumper, wheels, and tires. :notsure:

$1000 on some 255/75/r17s seems like the more reasonable route.

Yea...I'd skip all that for $7k on a Z71.

Bigger tires will get you most of what you want.

So, I'm starting to hear about 3.6L timing chain failures. This is across the board for all the engines GM has been installing it in.
Anyone got any light on this?

I do notice noise for the first 10s at tickover when I remote start the vehicle.
Guessing it needs to get oil pressure to the chain to lube it.

:rage: :wtf: I would think Cadillac had this engine first in the CTS way back in 14, that may be the best source of long term data.

I dug into the rattle issue a little more and it's common on the LGZ engines.
It's a hydraulic chain tensioner that needs pressure built in the first 10s of runtime.

It's normal.
