33k by outbidding others and begging the owner to let it go to him... it is 5 years old with 110k miles... that is nearly 40% residual... :wtf:
The car was only 83k MSRP? I don't think so...
I dunno. It gets tricky when you count the epic $7500-12,500 discounts you get from the .gov .ca His is an 85 so i am not exactly sure how much it was though...

My boss got a P75D for 72k+ TTL - .gov rape last year.

I'm curious to see if there will be an impact on Tesla sales when the tax incentive goes away, which should be soon.

I think the average Tesla buyer doesn't qualify anyway. Most ppl that buy em make 400k+ combined income in the household, at least from what I can tell around here.

model 3 is more interesting... since it was supposed to be cheaper... taking out the tax advantage and loading it up with crazy options makes it nearly the same price as a model S which is :fullretard:

True :( Gotta write off the daughters racehorse as a service animal and the land surrounding it as a medical expense since it is "therapy"

Exactly. Such a scam.

I too am curious how the model 3 and S will interact once the tax credit is gone. Doesn't sound like they'll be producing the poverty model yet, either.

Poverty model is still 6 + months out... Dude you have no idea, I see about 10-20 Model 3's a day now. I can't imagine what this area will look like once they are at full "capacity", also I have no idea how they will "service" them. So far the service is stellar, and this is coming from ppl that normally have luxo brands, then again luxo service in my area is shit (from personal experience) .

I am willing to bet he is going to go from "production hell" to "service hell" and to "supercharger hell" they can't handle all these additional cars.

This is what I've been predicting since the Model 3 was announced.

It's not production that'll get him (even though it seems to be), it's all the aftersales stuff he's completely ignoring.

Worse is using a proprietary charger, so to charge quickly you pretty much have to be at a Tesla charger, which will compound issues substantially.

Reasons why electric cars don't work for me:

-I'm all highway
-easily commute 100-150 miles each way once or twice a week with risk of highway jam ups etc
-electricity is climbing in price, and our grid is pricey AF, i don't look forward to what the future holds when half the population drives electric
-I rarely see charging stations where I drive and park

I do think its a technology that's moving in the right direction. If i had free charging and a shorter more predictable drive I'd look into the volt or egolf

Just few weeks ago, my local shell went from 3.09 to 2.79, then a week later 2.69, literally the day of my departure 2.75 on regular. I pass that shell every day and I check the price like its a habit

Paid 2.79 at a locally known "cheap" gas station this weekend for the :truk:

I haven't put gas in the Volt in over 2 months. I should probably burn the tank down.

Looks like around $2.99 for regular and around an $.80 markup for 93.

Will fill up tonight and confirm.

Regular is about $2.699 in my area currently, you can drive to South Carolina and save about $0.20 per gallon. Premium is way more though, like $3.499. It costs about $50 to fill up the :poorvette: now, :aintcare: really. I voted $7, as I think once it was $100 to fill up, I'd think about :wasteful: drives a little bit more.

I care, but not enough to trade my car for a Prius and hiking boots. Nothing particularly fun runs well sipping on 87, maybe a base Celica?
