It costs about $50 to fill up the :poorvette: now, :aintcare: really. I voted $7, as I think once it was $100 to fill up, I'd think about :wasteful: drives a little bit more.
:impressive: how no one cares about $4 + gas anymore :thankstrump:
Well... I probably would care if I burned through a ton of it, but I don't commute or anything, I burn like 25 tanks a year... I spend more money on beer and would cut down on that before driving.

How do you get around ? My average weekend is 200 miles visiting friends and fam and doing shit. Commuting is only 1/4 of the miles I drive

Just travel a ton, I'm probably only home 30 weekends a year or something... maybe I use 30 tanks, but doubt it. I do a lot on weekends, but it's often with the gf, so her car gets some of the miles too. I should fuelly to keep track but it seems like I fill up every other weekend on average. Certainly some weekends I'll use a tank or two if doing day trips to the mountains or something, but I don't really take my car on longer trips.

I probably pump another 10-20 tanks into rental vehicles each year though... in Ireland, that hurt, it was more to fill up the three cylinder Seat than my :poorvette: .

Fuel costs don't really factor into my purchase decisions due to how few miles I drive.
The car just broke 7k miles... It'll be 2 years old in November.

I drive through a shitty neighborhood in Chester (Philly suburb) every day that has a Citgo gas station a half mile from the bridge back into NJ. I just noticed today fuel was $4.99 for regular and $6.49 for premium.

Explains why I haven’t seen a car fill up there for weeks.

probably the location/convenience aspect. They can charge what they want (within reason) and we can choose not to pay.

That being said if it’s by bridges it might be paying taxes for different levels of authorities?

Will fill up tonight and confirm.
Confirmed. Filled up for $3.77 for 93 and 87 was $2.97.
The premium markup in the Midwest is massive rape.

Around here it's about a $0.50 markup for premium. :iono:

Yea I don't understand it at all.... I guess if you want your car to "drink" only the best gas you better fill-erup with your trust fund.

We're between $0.5 and $0.8 here. It's ridiculous. I remember when it was a $0.2 spread.

Well, I think it's because they know they can charge it. If you're buying premium, you'll pay whatever because either your car requires it (like mine) or you're a :waxer: and just :aintcare:

Why not raise regular to $5 then... that logic makes little sense.
