I don't believe it at all then. I thought they were at least an APR dealer. That's a massive .
I wish VW offered factory t00ns like Ford does.
I had a Ford backed FRPP tune and plugs on the FoST. When it started with oil loss and probable ringland issues, two dealers washed their hands pretty quickly. It didn't do shit for me, and the Ford Racing warranty offered complete long block coverage one time up to a $5800 limit.
As a service advisor, I've been trained by Toyota/Lexus and Porsche to use common sense with warranty claims. Oil leak? sure, not really a tune issue. O2/AF sensor? Not really a big tune issue... Timing or fueling issues? Cash, check or charge.
I don't think I've ever heard anything good about Ford service. Everyone says they're horrific. Another reason I was turned off by the moostang.
Got a 6 1/2 hour drive to put on the full court press on the wife.
This could go south in an instant so I gotta be patient.
Only problem is my car and bank will be here. I've bought new cars out of state before and it's a pain. At least it was on KY
In reality this is still 2 years away for me. Party of me thinks it's best to wait for the Mk8
Its a really nice car. They just cost the premium (premium to me since Im a pleb). So in terms of features and finish quality, its a budget luxo car with some sport.
40k for a car is premium for me too.
Having debt freaks my wife the fuck out. If we can't pay for it in cash or pay off the CC monthly, she gets really shook. Like crying upset. Before we knew we we're going to Michigan we made a deal about my next car. Buying this would break the deal.
40 large
I dunno. Mid 40s gets you a 996 turbo. Or mid 30s gets you a CPO S4.
No desires to own a 2 door car at that price point. Zero point Zero.
The S4 does pique my interest doe. But listening to everyone here had me scared of used German cars. 340i would be first choice.
Kinda settled on the R which I'm happy with.
340i is German doe
S4 is about as reliable as a used German sports automobile will get. Even then you're dealing with common issues like water pumps, carbon buildup, coil packs, etc. 340i will have VANOS because BMW, water pumps, suspension bushings and stuff like that. 340i will also have absolutely zero steering feel.

I know it's German, just saying that if I went that route it would be that car.
I do appreciate your comments/opinions on the car doe.

We'll see. Again, realistically it's 2 years out.
RS3 will be here and used by then...?
Don’t count on used RS3’s to be affordable

DFD. The forum where everybody makes the same choices and then tells anybody trying to join the club that they are the stupidest motherfucker to ever walk the earth.
