I finally found my old pics of my Beetle engine build that Max asked me about last year but :notsure: if I should post them here or :iono:
:notsure: why you're :notsure: but you should :doit:
Mostly because I'm :notsure: anyone :whocares: about my 30+ year old Beetle build. It's certainly not worthy of it's own build thread.

If I can talk to (mostly myself) in the half car thread you can talk to yourself in a Wap history thread.

Replaced the cabin filter yesterday as the AC was stinking the first few minutes it was on. Clips on the filter cover were such and pain in the ass. You practically need 3 hands to unclip it and remove the filter.

It was a Mann filter in there already but I'm not sure if it was a FreciousPlus or not. It had a yellow side just like the replacement. The original filter was also a little bit thicker than this replacement. :iono:

in4 30 minute shirtless vlog review. Changing that was so easy on the MK6. Literally 5 minutes of work.

I mean it's easy, but theres 6 plastic clips holding it in on the Mk7. 3 on the bottom, 3 on top and they're pretty stiff.

Mk6 was so easy. Just slide the cover to the side and it pops out.

I :lolol: at them and :nope: out on that 40k mile service. I just had them do the DSG and they discounted the oil service to like $40. Said I'll gladly do filter at home, just didnt have the time for DSG.

I put it in Eco drive mode, but turned out auto start/Stop. I’m sure R could do even better in DSG (I know you have :manuel: ) since there’s a whole other gear to derp in

True. I was pretty impressed. I average around 35-40 depending on traffic and route if I’m doing a highway commute.
