Cadillac coming back to Meat-chicken. Holy whoever thought it made sense for Cadillac to go to NY and squander a bunch of money should be fired.

IMO, GM should be looking at Cadillac as the premiere showcase of everything they can possibly do. Cram those cars absolutely full of shit. And trickle the tech down to Buick, Chevy, etc after a couple years. But keep Caddy pushing the boundaries. V8 hybrid electrics. At this point they should be able to drive themselves. Challenge Tesla's autopilot, make a better system, roll it out to every car of theirs. The whole car should be Amazon Alexa style where you say "hey caddy" and then give it a command and bam it does it. Anything from changing the temperature, to giving a massage, to dimming the display, to reading news headlings/articles from your favorite sources, to texting your wife to say you're getting drinks with the boys. Banish the microwave buttons. Banish the apps and bs on the radio screen. Holographic displays. Get rid of the car key entirely, the car recognizes your face and as you're walking to it, it adjusts your seat, preps your radio, turns the AC on to cool it, etc. Open the door, sit in it, and it says "good morning Mr. Wasteful, where would you like to go?" "home" and it brings up the route and asks you if you would like it to drive for you or if you'd like some road head on the way.
Why not?

What is the forum opinion of the Focus RS?
I have a friend who is looking at them and found a few for some insanely cheap prices. We are planning to go look at them this weekend.
Things to look out for? I know there is the headgasket issue. That will be addressed if not already done. Ford has a recall for it.

Max has been looking at them. I think they're really cool, but never driven or ridden in one.Barnes93cb wrote: ↑Thu Sep 27, 2018 8:34 am What is the forum opinion of the Focus RS?

Worth considering for the seats alone. Recaro Sportster CS, the same seats in an Evora and optional in many cars for ROW but not here.Barnes93cb wrote:What is the forum opinion of the Focus RS?

Prices are attractive for sure. Be sure to test drive one on some normal / rougher roads, word is they ride rough but YMMV.Barnes93cb wrote: ↑Thu Sep 27, 2018 8:34 am What is the forum opinion of the Focus RS?

KIA/H decided to enter the luxury sedan market that is dominated by German and Japanase brands with a product priced NEARLY the same... even though the germans/japs have had 5-10k sitting on the hoods already.... as NO ONE wants sedans anymore.... and NOW THEY ARE DISCOUNTING THEM?!?!?
Well FK me and call me susie, didn't not see this one coming AT ALL.

Could be a good alternative to a civic SI actually... if those prices are going to remain constant. The other issue is... 27k kia stinger is going to be 14k in 2 years...dubshow wrote: ↑Thu Sep 27, 2018 1:01 pm$27k OTD.Davestr wrote: ↑Thu Sep 27, 2018 12:26 pm https://jalopnik.com/the-cheap-kia-stin ... 1829355766 - The Cheap Kia Stingers Are Coming
I mean I got 10k off my dads 300s, how it is worse than a 4 banger kia. 30k OTD.

Unreal but as Max pointed out utterly predictable. If you need a sedan long term and are a buyer....thats not a bad choice.dubshow wrote: ↑Thu Sep 27, 2018 1:01 pm$27k OTD.Davestr wrote: ↑Thu Sep 27, 2018 12:26 pm https://jalopnik.com/the-cheap-kia-stin ... 1829355766 - The Cheap Kia Stingers Are Coming
