Imagine being his neighbor and playing a drinking game watching him from your living room across the street.

The general public has no idea how much is being recorded, you hook up a scan tool and see a couple hundred value. With engineering software and the right measurement file you can see about 21,000 recorded values in the ECM.dubshow wrote: ↑Sat Jul 21, 2018 9:38 pm

That would be incredible. He wouldn’t be a bad neighbor I think. He’s quiet in general and would provide lolz for days.Calvinball wrote: ↑Sat Jul 21, 2018 7:35 pm Imagine being his neighbor and playing a drinking game watching him from your living room across the street.

I honestly don’t see it worth $50k considering i’m getting an engine that’s a decade old, maybe few bits that won’t really has much performance benefits, perhaps the exception of that spoiler for better downforce

This is nuts. Can't imagine Tesla has a stellar reputation among its suppliers, and this isn't going to help anything. If I was a supplier working with Tesla, I'd be finding a way out, stat.Davestr wrote: ↑Mon Jul 23, 2018 5:52 am https://wolfstreet.com/2018/07/23/despe ... y-to-2016/

We had a somewhat similar scenario happen to us 6 or 7 years ago. One of our biggest customers was bought out and the new owners started to slow down on their payments. Our owner and CFO paid them a visit and they had the to ask us for a 15% haircut on all outstanding invoices because reasons. We immediately said and stopped all shipments said to future orders. They eventually paid in full after a few months but I made no attempt to reach out to them for more business. Then, out of the blue, about 2 years later they came back to me asking if they could buy from us again because they missed our prices and my service. We said and they were a great customer for the next 5-6 years, paid us on time, etc, until they crashed and burned again last year but for different reasons.
