Really though that XDS faux diff can eat a dick.
Apples to apples :doe: not every gti has xds. Just goes to show that there isn’t THAT much different between the models and why when people want :something different: and an egg is an egg it makes some sense

I’m curious how bad a civic sport hatch would do on there, the chassis is the same as the R which did really well.
My new :gay: machine tied with the GTI. Probably shave off a couple seconds from that, mostly because I'm guessing the Si was equipped with the summer rubber.

I guess it would be logical to cross shop with that, and maybe something like an X1/Lexus NX/ Datsun QX50 or whatever. That would bracket it nicely. Dunno mang. I'm kind of over small cars. Plus I like having AWD. Would be shopping automatics though because fuck dust bowl era great gatsby manuals in the land of stop signs. Is the CVT 1.5T Honda any good?

I am not going to lie to you.... I drove a civic EX-L and I fucking HATED It. It felt like garbage, slow, marshmellow, no power, buzzy, some lag etc. It is tuned for :derp: 's the Accord with the same continuously vaginal transmission and 2.4 was completely different. It was quick, responsive and didn't feel like it was wheezing to keep up with traffic. To add insult to injury the EX-L came in sedan form + Moonroof, I don't know what retard at honda designed it but it had very little headroom for linebackers. The hatch+no moonroof was cavernous in comparison.

250 horsies on premium swill.
:notbad: only for the super high end touring models at $40k? Or also available a bit lower on the food chain

I feel like a 2.5 turbro should do better than that.

Just looked at 2019 trim levels through my back end dealer tool - I see 2 new trim levels for the CX-5 for 2019 but no indication of engine choices yet.

So for 2019, you'll have the following trims: Sport, Touring, Grand Touring, Grand Touring Reserve, and Signature.

I'd wager it'll follow the Mazda6 in terms of turbo application - reserved for GT, GTR, and Signature trims only. We'll probably see some shakeup in pricing structure, too. Currently the base GT AWD comes in at $32k.
Who's signature is on the top trims?

It makes 310 tq doe. I don't think there's turbro 4 making that much torque in the segment.

Next thing to do is update the 6AT to a 7 or 8 speed. The 2.5 NA would probably be fine with a gear between 1st and 2nd to keep the engine on boil.

That Hellcat Widebody time is pretty impressive for driving a ship around a track. Power uber alles

Understood but it's still a barge. That's some decent suspension tuning.

Yep. But my dads 300 feels pretty darn good too. Huge but good. They are not terrible vehicles, I really like this chassis

Why even label that a Corvette? Is there some thread from Corvette heritage in this car that I'm missing.

That said, can't wait to see it. Sounded great in testing
