A90 generation gets a version of BMW's B58 turbocharged and direct-injected 3.0-liter inline-six making 335 horsepower and 365 lb-ft of torque. Naturally, there's room for more power—the Z4's B58 is tweaked to 382 horses
but man i do love the styling. even if it is just a newer z4 coupe.

if its not YUGE IRL, i think it will be a winner in the short tem at least.
That Z4
not hard top convertible
It looks quite compact. And hard top convertibles are such a thing. So much weight and complexity.
I wish the RF was a removable targa soft panel.
Ok wont disagree, however on a car thats more GT oriented like a z4 the quietness on the road with a hard top.....the lack of leaks...the refinement..... its a worthy compromise.
On the miata i do with they just did a panel like the old honda del sol's

My guess would be that Chris took some time off because he has read the dialogue on this page 1,345 times and decided to spend some of his free time doing something besides beating a horse to death.
M2 has 440hp currently ... also Supra is no way In hell going to be 3200lbs, maybe in the 2.0T. This is a bmw after all it’ll weigh within 100-200lbs of a comparable 240i

I'm still not ready to give up in my fun car
Maybe I'll feel differently once I actually have a fun car, but right now I don't want to give it up in the DD, either.
I was reluctant, but with 90% of my commute in traffic, it sure is nice to commute in the Volt. One pedal driving is awesome for traffic.

Yeah, but power isn't everything. 335 HP is still plenty quick.
It's just depressing for the goons who only do 0-120-0 runs on the illegally blocked highway in Tejas.
the point is the car is half assed and it shows.
Power isn’t everything it’s 50-60k sports car it better be fast
Interior is all bmw thAt makes sense for a Toyota.
Did they do anything ? What exactly is the distinguishing feature of this vehicle ? I just don’t understand how it was even made

I do 1 pedal driving in the m3. It is fun!
Manual mode holding gears for engine braking?

I just don't think it'll be competitive for the cost.
The car looks sharp and reviews well. Drop the price or give it some more boost from the factory. 400 hp would be more in line with $50-60k.
0-60 in 4.1 sec, does it really need much more power? That's pretty quick. Gearing must be

Automatics with pre-spooled turbos and launch control are quick off the line. that's not real life acceleration... An identically priced (automatic) C7 will still beat it in every metric.

Shame it won't come with
Probably what makes it so quick to 60
I'd never be a customer for this thing anyway, so they could be a CVT in it for all I care.
A base Cayman can rip 0-60 in 4.3 sec according to C&D. I'd take that over this for the same price any day.

Shit, you can get a base auto C7 for under $50k these days. Indeed, it will destroy this in every measure.

It’s just the same 8 speed found in my dads Chrysler it’s a nice tranny
Shit it is? It's not even a dual clutch whatever?

8-speed slushbox just like in the C7... which apparently does 0-60 in 3.6 seconds with the automatic, so completely for the same price.
The C7 is a performance bargain. Always has been.
But it doesn't have the fanboi following like the Supra. Not mad JDM yo...oh wait...

Dual clutch is reserved for m cars. I bet it won’t even come with a lsd standard. I’ll write up my thoughts later
It's a Toyota, not an M car.
