When my dad tried to appraise his old expedition at carmax, this egyptian guy recommended suv’s like lexus, mercedes, acura, range rover, chevy, etc, but he told him not to get BMW if you want a comfortable suv. The huge reasons are runflats. Also can you recall the :ramz: size?
Tire size?

Image

Didn't have enough tire that's for sure.
Thats what i thought. Not enough tire and runflats = uncomfortable ride.

Looking better. Honda will do continuous improvements in all avenues and I'm betting that the 2019 will be a good product own and operate! :like:

Wonder if this will trickle to the hatch, Si, and ARRRRRR models. Right now it's just listing sedan and coupe which IMO looked good and didn't need anything (those ones never had the giant wart-like fakevents).

Hopefully they clean up all the models and keep chipping away at the open issues and irritants. The civic has always been the go to reliable derpmobile, and they've always been doing annual improvement initiatives, except maybe 2012?

Wow, the new civic actually looks great. I’m amazed. Best facelift turnaround maybe ever.

Anyone know anyone who bought a new Subie Ascent? 293 are being recalled.

https://www.automobilemag.com/news/suba ... EA2E7A0C45
The Problem: According to Subaru, the affected vehicles may not have received all the necessary spot welds on or around the B-pillar. Because of that, the vehicle’s structural integrity is likely compromised, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.

The Fix: Instead of attempting to reweld the affected B-pillars, Subaru has taken a pricier but less risky approach. Owners of vehicles found to be missing the necessary spot welds will be given a brand new Ascent that was built correctly. The Japanese automaker will also cover the cost of any taxes, fees, and registration costs that owners are required to pay in order to swap vehicles.
:notbad: way of handling the situation.

I just cheated and looked at the image filenames... the second one that's more Odyssey-inspired is the new one.

Amazing they made it out of the factory like that. Action from SOA is appropriate. Bravo to them for flat out replacing those cars instead of doing bs "dealership inspections" or having some poor engineer try and validate structural integrity of those cars.

They can always re-sell them in Russia
