F430 was probably one the best driving car I have ever driven... best steering hands down. The interior doe... very 90s.
Not a bad way to some money... certainly better than on some aircooled beetle with 5x the miles.

under previous ownership is said to have included a VANOS service as well as installation of a new clutch, flywheel, driveshaft, gaskets, suspension updates, and more.
Vanos Fucked
Clutch fucked
Flywheel fucked...
driveshaft?! Of course why not
Leaky POS ... yep...
No mention of the engine out and complete disassembly de carbonifying of the motor
No mention of the rod bearings (yep they fail also)
(Also lets mention that it was repo'ed and some other shit happened out of state)

This is why Honda got the reputation for reliability. Needed fking nothing but oil change and some o rings in 20 fking years.
I had this gen prelude... excellent car. Sounded really good, especially above 5000rpm. It is a bit too small for linebackers (I didn't have enough headroom with the moonroof) but other than that it was excellent.
We had one of these when I was a kid! Red with a black vinyl top. Fun little car but ours was kind of a pile.
It was pretty cool - the German pony car. I used to want a Capri 2 BAD. That was a handsome car, IMO. With the 2.8 V6 it would have been pretty badass. I was pricing headers and exhausts for them but I ended up getting my Beetle instead.
Wonder where I'd be car-wise now if I'd gotten that Capri 2 instead of the Beetle.
Where are these mangos?

I don't understand anything anymore.

That is most excellent. All cars should be that reliable now.

Nothing will ever be as reliable as a 90s honda or toyota

I know. It’s sad.
It's ok... while reliability isn't one of the things that got better. Everything else did.
I spent quite a bit of time in a 1997 Civic hatch, with no AC and everything. While it was an epic ZOMG 2000lb only SUPER LIGHT WEIGHT RACEKAR it was also an epic pile, with no power, shitty brakes, shitty rattles, shitty lights, shitty stereo, a death trap, and metal you can dent with a pinky.
who is a fanboi of this abomination. I for one am not.
Originally silver, a purple sprayable vinyl-based wrap and clear coat were applied to the body and hardtop. The original fenders were cut and an Autokonexion wide-body kit added which includes riveted rear GT fenders along with extended bumper corners, a custom deck lid spoiler, front air intakes, and a front lip. The new soft top is not currently installed, though it will accompany the sale.
Per the seller, starting the car requires flipping a hidden kill-switch and turning on the fuel pump prior to twisting the ignition. The check engine light is illuminated for codes P1415 and P1298, which coincide with removal of the air pump and electrical load detector.
I'm liking silver on cars lately, but not all cars. Also, colors on cars are fun IMO
I don't find them attractive on luxury cars, it makes them look less expensive or exciting from my perspective.
's , and are all silver and I'm really diggin the look. Not so much luxury cars for sure. They need a rich deep and hard to maintain paint to be worth their beans. Like a try stage metallic wine red or British racing green.. or just black FTW
