but even if it's not, he's got basically the entire factory warranty to go through. I don't think this is a bad call at all. Sport was optioned perfectly from the factory, and offers a combo you can no longer get in the GTI.

You still get the 60k mile warranty on the important stuff on the Sport, and most of the shit that is covered by a 3 year, 36k mile basic warranty either fucks up early, or goes bad well over 80-100k/5-6 years later when coverage is a moot point.

It's a set of fog lights away from perfect.

no, it's at a CJDR dealer.
Car looks clean. Someone else has taken the hit on it, and for $22k it's a good buy. I've already got 18k miles on mine and it's been smooth.

Honestly a 2016 S with the lighting and performance packages is perfect IMO. Has fog lights and I could do without the proximity key crap, it's just one more thing to go wrong. Well, perfect except the ugly Austins.

Golf R with DSG would be the perfect car for me, I'm just in denial and still salty from my MK6.
Get the 7. You've been over them for a while now and seems you have a good opportunity here.

In my ideal world I'd have a daily and something like this:
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1997-porsche-911-14/
The GTI is all the sportiness I need in a daily, really, but it would definitely leave me wanting when it comes to hooning around the back roads.
The STi is an attempt at getting both of those cars in one and, for the most part, it does a damn good job. It's just . Not that the 911 isn't.
Getting the GTI leaves having a ND or S2000 in the realm of possibility, though. Keeping the STi guarantees it'll be my only car.

STI is a great only car, but I agree if you can have 2 then you can get a better DD utility vehicle and a better fun car.coogles wrote: ↑Tue May 29, 2018 2:19 pmIn my ideal world I'd have a daily and something like this:

Interesting that one seems rather cheap. I guess at these prices the “my knee don’t work” buys will get ragged on and crashed in a few years time, and prices will come up. to see some of these still around in nice shape.Detroit wrote: ↑Wed May 30, 2018 10:57 am Seriously buy for you dudes around Philly...

It's the cheapest I've seen that's an 01+ with black interior and "low" miles that hasn't been modded/ragged to hell. Not a good sign for C5 valuesmax225 wrote: ↑Wed May 30, 2018 11:46 amInteresting that one seems rather cheap. Seems like the C4>C5 at this point in time, C4s have been ragged on for years... a clean grand sport is like 20k+ now

That car is always going to be worth $$$ because of the rarity and the engine. For that $$ I would just go C4ZR1.max225 wrote: ↑Wed May 30, 2018 2:06 pmSeems like the C4>C5 at this point in time, C4s have been ragged on for years... a clean grand sport is like 20k+ now

They're gonna be awesome. The center caps are already red/gold, too, so I may swap with someone with black ones. The car is already way too red to begin with, lol.
I like rumbles, vape juice and mudflaps

Yea, C4ZR1 is the way to go here, though it'd probably cost more in similar condition.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Wed May 30, 2018 2:56 pmThat car is always going to be worth $$$ because of the rarity and the engine. For that $$ I would just go C4ZR1.max225 wrote: ↑Wed May 30, 2018 2:06 pm

I love the styling of the C4, but the interior roominess would leave a lot to be desired.

THERE WE FIXED IT!
The fix still has longer braking than a Honda Accord
Software updates for braking systems
Beta testing because Tesla obviously didn't do any testing of their own
