38k for a super clean C6 Z06 with sub 30k miles. . :impressive:

514 WHP. How the Fk do you beat that performance from any make or model. Oh but air cooled porsche... oh such performance such analag FUCK THAT.
Exquisite taste here!

I like the ZR1 Ramz a lot, this car is all there.
Srs. questions about passing smog with the head work, headers and intake. It is not discussed.
$38K to cover summer and fall tuition? Where's he going, Stanford?
Probably need to "know a guy" for smog with those headers, I'm not aware of any that are CARB approved. The rest should fly under the radar.

"Matt G Custom Cam" Who the fuck is "Matt G"? and why do I trust him to spec a cam? Are the cam specs super secret? I hate that shit.

Just noticed that he lists the stock intake and exhaust as included. Probably slap those on for smog time and roll right through now that it's just an OBD check.

Switching out LT headers and stock exhaust manifolds is not a "slap it on" sort of affair....

Depends. Once you did it a few times, it wouldn't be bad. I could knock it out in an afternoon.

It's the best combo - even if the 996 is ugly as sin.
I've never understood this... 996 looks exactly like every other 911.
It does in general design, but the headlights are ugly as fuck. It's a small complaint, but it's a very obvious one lol.

That shit drives me crazy. I'm not just trusting someone to know what's best for my car. When I shopped cams, I'd come across grinds that companies/tuners wouldn't post the specs of claiming "top secret" or whatever. :yeahok: I want to know what I'm putting in my car.

Even when I had the car tuned, I sat with the tuner while he did it and learned what he was doing. Watched A/F ratios on the laptop, timing, knock sensing, etc. I know there's "tuning gurus" or whatever, but everyone has an off day, and I feel better knowing what's gong on with my own car.

This is why I'd have a hard time buying a modded car like this with no info. I'd want to know cam specs. I'd want to talk to the tuner to understand the tuning methodology, etc. Anyone can tune for peak HP numbers, it's a challenge to tune for drivability and reliability.

Right...what does that even mean?

Given the price and mention of original heads, I'm guessing the owner knows something is looming.

Oh how I want this.

The heads go, they'd need to be kitted or whatever. For the price and your skills I'd :aintcare: and fix whatever needs fixing.

You can preventatively do the heads for a few grand.

Totally. I'd buy this and do the heads right away myself. Great opportunity to upgrade.

Factor in a few grand minimum for heads. This car very likely needs them and the owner knows it.

Man the term “a few grand” gets tossed around here pretty loosely around this thread for you tight ass bastards. I just see a lot more work. I’d move up to the upper 30s for a more turnkey example.
