dang. Electric seems to be, on paper at least, an ideal solution for motorcycles.

well shit, it was only a few months ago I was speaking with the toothless owner. Nice guy and cool product. Can't say I wasn't suspicious of longevity. And the battery life claims never held up.

:notsure:

By most accounts they're range predictions were pretty close to what was stated for most intermediate-ish riders. Also, the founders are all California bros...

it's getting closer. Guys that are running this at MX track days often invest in 220V generators for charging between sessions. I think an ideal situation for track riding - and I believe they were working towards this - would be a swap-able battery pack.

But yeah, outside of Goldwing and long-range Harley riders - an E-bike works well in a lot of situations.

It'll get there eventually - needs moar money, which is hard to come by in the MC world. Also - solid state battery technology advancement.

An interesting take on Harley sales slump.

Historically low used bike prices are cannibalizing new bike sales.

Probably around $45,000, but capable of 231hp w/ the race exhaust. 16,500rpm redline + titanium rods and valves  :fullretard:

Good, positive editorial. The same could be said about car enthusiasts in random corners of the interwebs.
