Back to car news.
This is interesting. FCA reported their sales... 1% below vs the other big 2 down at 7.
It will be interesting to see what they'll do with Chrysler.
That brand is dead.
They have 3 products 200, 300, Pacifica. 200 is pretty much dead. 300, is ancient and pacifica can easily be transferred to
So really... they have no incentive to keep that brand alive.
Jeep is where things get interesting. It is truly the only "brand" they have outside of the pickup truck.
Wrangler is now officially the 2nd best selling jeep in the lineup after the Grand Cherokee. And they are not even at full capacity for that vehicle...
They moved 16k wranglers in feb.... vs 13.6k in 17. So it looks like they'll likely be up to 300k+ units for the year for the wranglers. It is interesting to note though... that they are still selling the JK until the end of this month and probably year... since they are making it till april.
Frankly, they should have seen a bigger bump than that.

considering we took it light off-roading and through heavy snow at 8k elevation (with a foot on the ground) it was pretty fun. Had tire chains that we threw on the fronts but it was pretty planted. In your world where subprime lending and incentive spending have no bearing on sales performance it is indeed

Burble was fun this morning with TC off getting slidey in the rain. It'll kick the ass end out if you gun it around a turn, Colin McRae style. The no grip snowpocalypse tires helped.[user not found] wrote: ↑Thu Mar 01, 2018 6:49 pm
