ok, but if you keep the ones you have now you get credit on tradein.

also, i like my z4. I like that it moves around a bit (at somewhat) sane speeds.

The older i get, the LESS grip and raw speed I want for a 'sports' car. there is no sport on public roads if you run hoosiers and have 600 hp on tap. The sport part, for me, is to do more with less. So i partially agree with :mahtroy: however i'm not as extreme and not a killjoy. And I'll pay my supplemental road taxes occasionally to have some fun the rest of the time.

I read that quote before, and after a quick Google search yielded nothing, I threw on a silly source and ran with it.

I usually just get the best tar that balances my needs with wants. From now on it will be designated summer/winter setup and for daily driving I'd tack on an extra 10mm width on the summers and as narrow as possible winters to cut through snow and slush and find pavement.

A car that has no business being in this thread because gm did it right.

1le Camaro with 285s up front and 305s out back. Pulls over 1G in the turns.

That's exactly how an Msport should have been done imo.

Sounds to me like it has more business in this thread than a 3-series sedan.

If sporty driving is your thing bear in mind the OEM purposefully FUCKED you with these cars to upsell you to the next level up. JohnnyP gave me the inspiration for this thread.

First and foremost I nominate my own
BMW 335i M sport 225 front 255 rear
BMW 235i M sport 225 front 245 rear (dafuq) even worse than mine
BMW 135is 215 front 245 rear
BMW M3 (E46) 225 front 255 rear
BMW Z4 35is 225 front 245 rear

Audi S4 245s all around (same as a 500lb lighter golf R)
Audi S3 225s all around

Lexus RC350 F sport 235 up front
Lexus IS350 F sport 225 up front

Mercedes C43 amg 225 front 245 rear

Dodge Charger/Challenger R/T 245 all around
Chrysler 300S V8 245 all around

Ford Mustang GT base 235s all around

Alfa Giulia Quadrafuglio 245s front and 285 rear

Chevy SS 245s up front and 275 rear

This article perfectly onlines how much decent tires are WORTH... around turns.

:triggered: off...

Let me know if I missed any :gay:
I am amused that you will not let this go. Maybe I should try a 325 square setup on the GS?
The most amusing thing to me is that a dude who makes like $150k/year bitches about the tire sizes on his rental car daily but won't spend a few hundred dollars to easily fix the problem.

I do get his complain, I'll probably go to a square setup on my :poorvette: after wearing out these rubberz, I was unfortunately broke when I had to buy this set and :ramz: weren't an option.

:fuckyeah:

I mean, I have a couple of years. Even summerz will last me a while at only 5-7k/year. It'll depend on if I ever really go for 4.10s, if I do, I'd probably want larger than 275 out back, stock-ish, it's adequate, 275X4 would be :tits: .

Why the hell would you put that kind of rubber on a women's car?

It's an m-sport, not an M. Such badge, so high school senior commuter.
Doesn't Trev actually own the same exact car Max rents?

This thread is not about my car... my car just happens to be part of a larger number of neutered cars that could be way better than they are with a simple tire change.

Why would I :troywax: on tires when I won't have this thing by the same time next year.

I have far better uses for that money.

It may be on the list for the next car ... or an M3. Just gonna have to wait and see what happens with the finances
