Damn that sucks about their truck, but the tundra is a good old man truck. I personally would never consider it over a RAM, but I don't see why your dad wouldn't be completely happy with it besides mpg.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Mon Aug 17, 2020 8:21 pmI have no idea what the deal was. I don’t know why he was dead set on the F150. I told them to look at Rams.max225 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 17, 2020 4:54 pm
Wow that’s horrible. Also curious what the deal that they got was ?
Current market is absolutely terrifying.
I was driving by a clean 2001 4 runner yesterday and I figured since I liked working on the taco, why not take a look.
134k Miles
Baldish tires
Dented Tail gate with a busted lock
$14,900
that’s getting close to what I paid for the mini.
2021 is a brand new model F150. So I imagine fraud has some good deals on existing inventory.

Is it nuts ? I mean the JGC track hawk is over 100k with options and this is way cooler IMO. Same goes with a hellcatDevilchrono wrote: ↑Tue Aug 18, 2020 1:37 pmRemains to be seen honestly.
I've been in my dad 18' Raptor with the Ford Stage 1 package (dealer option) and it's super fucking nice. He overpaid for it, but that's normal for him. The TRX, while nice, is gonna be pushing $90k+ when optioned out, and that's just nuts. I would love a Raptor, but even the used pricing on this is ludicrous.

I have long term durability questions about what is getting to be a seriously huffed on 3.5 liter V6 pulling around 5600 lbs. Plus if I'm going to be a douchebag.........and lets face it I am one if I buy either a Raptor or a TRX.......I'm going to want Hellcat noises for all that money. New truck prices kind of make meDevilchrono wrote: ↑Tue Aug 18, 2020 1:37 pmRemains to be seen honestly.

Angry for 200 miles, maybe dude just took delivery. Either way it's new. Good luck getting it, I think it will always resell well with that package and color combo

My experience with overworked Ford turbo motors is NOT good. Also buying a for $50K or more that doesn't have a V8?Desertbreh wrote: ↑Tue Aug 18, 2020 2:12 pmI have long term durability questions about what is getting to be a seriously huffed on 3.5 liter V6 pulling around 5600 lbs. 41000+4.5% fee 42845.. but I was unwilling to bid over 40k... I don't buy the whole "story of the wife". But who knows... Too much of a gamble... IMO

With my, limited, experience with the truck, I love it honestly. It pulls his side by side just fine for hunting without any issues. He's had 1 electrical gremlin so far, and he needs to get his leveling kit on it since he put wider wheels/tires on it, to correct his rubbing issue up front. Otherwise, he loves it and it does exactly what he wants from a truck.D Griff wrote: ↑Tue Aug 18, 2020 2:57 pmMy experience with overworked Ford turbo motors is NOT good. The flip side, our neighbors handyman has a Rebel, that has spent more time at the dealer than on the road. They've replaced almost every sensor on the truck and it still has issues crop up from time to time. He's been driving his 90's Silverado more than the Rebel.
If everything was equal, and I could afford either of them, I have to admit that I'd probably go with the TRX though as well.

It’s not a new truck, it also has a 5% fee attached to the transaction. It got bid to 41k proving that the people are not THAT retarded. But it didn’t meet a reserve from a seller looking to make money.
I am not in any rush, I actually have a far more useful taco for what I’m doing now. It has a bigger bed, gets better mpg and I give 0 fucks about it. Since the 1 garage spot is a trash staging area at the moment.
