cramped in a GC? I mean it is a house on wheels when it comes to full sizers...
Compared to a full sized crew cab? Fuck yeah. I could cross my legs naturally sitting behind myself in the RAM.
Yeah the full size trucks are monsters inside compared to the GC. GC, although large, doesn't have the best space utilization and has thick A pillars, leading to a more cramped impression than the truck actually is.
I still like the GC though, it's right size IMO. Maybe a hair long, but I can deal with that. I do think it's showing its age now.

Diller man told me that we are 2 years out before an update.
He also told me the sport hood on a Ram was functional and not just for show, which is so he maybe just full of shit.

That sounds about right... 2021 model year is the update year.... http://www.wk2jeeps.com/ Damn this thing came out in 2011..... almost a DECADE ago.
240" long and 80" wide vehicle compared to a 189" long and 76" vehicle...
Ram has coilovers in the back too. It's a nice riding truck. I like it.
Super quiet as well. They are great vehicles, the main issue is size. If you're ok with that aspect it is fine. My buddy DD's his 3.0 Ecodiesel everywhere in cali, and it has been good to him in the last 34k miles and 3 years.
We'll see. I think that's where my head is right now.
I'm feeling the itch but can't justify the fuel usage vs my golf. I need a job where i stay close to home.
That's part of the apprehension. Ram will cost 10k more than three RAV4 hybrid for fuel at 4$ a gallon over the course of 5 years. That's over $150 a month more in just gas.

This is where I get hung up on the Jeep Wrangler option. Sure they're cool. I'm never going to use the off road capability of one. A Rav will drive better, be more comfy, easier to park, and use half to 1/3 the fuel, and cost $10-15k less while still allowing me to do the amount of "off roading" I'd want.
I just wish they had better engine options. The Wrangler is actually pretty quick, which is something I'd prefer for no real reason.
I haven't looked at the new Ram in person yet, but I'm getting to be in the same camp of "full-size trucks are too damn big anymore." It seems to be a pretty big camp given how the mid-size market has exploded in the last few years.

You drive about 4 miles a day, fuel is essentially free for you.

My guess would be that Chris took some time off because he has read the dialogue on this page 1,345 times and decided to spend some of his free time doing something besides beating a horse to death.

I get an automatic comfort thingy I’ll drive it more. I’d like to tour the US and or Canada in my next car.

I want to see numbers on the AWD prius. It's weird that the new Rav is still using the old NiMH batteries.
I noticed that! I wonder if the NiMH are super cheap to produce now? Odd to see Toyota still using that tech in brand new applications.
