It's usually $40ish and $50ish respectively now.

Filled up the Benzo @ $.4.50/gallon with 91 80 bucks. Such commiefornia, very wow.

Yep. Heretofore MX has been pretty comparable to the U.S. in terms of gas prices. Will be interesting to see as prices escalate. We have a really nice Chevron close to our condo.....I'll have to send a pic. They have a "rest area" which features a body bag and a speed bag. Have a little lunch, train for your welterweight fight.max225 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 11:49 amGotta pay to play babyDesertbreh wrote: ↑Fri Apr 30, 2021 11:46 am

I was going to, actually. This is the first Ford I've had much desire for. It's just an electric truck, no fancy whiz-bang shit...just an honest electric truck from a company that's been building the most trucks for decades. This is a win and I may seriously consider one in a few years which is to me to say.

I would love one... but it’s too big for my needs. And they are bound to defeature the “electric ranger”. So I guess waiting game it is.Detroit wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 11:45 amI was going to, actually. This is the first Ford I've had much desire for. Problem is, to get the range out of a truck, the battery pack is so large that it pretty much requires it to be a fullsizer. That's why the Cybertruck is so massive and even the Rivian "midsize" is basically a full sizer when you look at the dimensions. Battery tech needs to advance before a viable EV midsize truck is even possible.max225 wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 11:56 amI would love one... but it’s too big for my needs. This would eliminate the need for a Tesla power wall for me that’s 14k saved. A completely non insignificant fact.Detroit wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 12:07 pmProblem is, to get the range out of a truck, the battery pack is so large that it pretty much requires it to be a fullsizer. But that F-150 And as "gimmicky" as it is, the whole house backup battery function if it works is a huge one for me.
Aero and mass are the problems. It's simple physics. A Midsize truck EV would have to look like a Model Y with a bed to get 300 mile range and still maintain some level of payload capacity. A cybertruck is as big as an F-150. I've been part of studies, so unless my company is garbage (well, it is, but still), these are the of EVmax225 wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 12:15 pmThis would eliminate the need for a Tesla power wall for me that’s 14k saved. I am not sure I follow the size comments. Like if the truck is 20% smaller make a 20% smaller battery and achieve similar range (obviously dumbing it down but it should hold roughly). Not like there some sort of efficiency gain by going larger. Tesla vehicles are no larger than their counterparts.
I just need something under 80” wide and 220” long. That’s a semi truck of the past lol.

Well a cybertruk is as big as f150 because that’s what “America Wants”. I just need something a bit smaller. There is a lot of space in a 210-220” long vehicle.Detroit wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 12:19 pmAero and mass are the problems. It's simple physics. Cybertruck is big because it has to fit the batteries. Glad your feelings are better than my I legit get paid to work on this shit, but you know better.max225 wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 12:43 pmWell a cybertruk is as big as f150 because that’s what “America Wants”. Isn’t the rivian that size ?
Edit it is.. 217” and 82” wide ... just a bit too wide but otherwise good size. F150, is closer 230.

What feelings and why are you so defensive ? I am just saying it should be possible to have a mid size truck with a 300 mile range. Pointed the rivian which has even larger ranges... I don’t think I’m out of line here.Detroit wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 12:51 pmCybertruck is big because it has to fit the batteries. The R1T is 217" long, but 81.8" WIDE. My fucking CT is 82.1" wide, so the Rivian is 10" shorter than my Ram, but just as wide. It's the width that sucks day to day, not the length. The Rivian is a bastard size truck to fit batteries.
