Not wrong at all with the V6, it’s a solid option. Just pointing out that brubs are available if someone wanted to brub.

See my edit. It might be okay, but I am still gun-shy with these.[user not found] wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2019 11:05 amSee?CorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2019 11:05 am
That was the worst vehicle I ever owned. You've been warned.

JGC has a way better transmission and isn't hideous, to start with.CorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2019 11:07 amSee my edit. It might be okay, but I am still gun-shy with these.
My sister owned a JGC (2012 I think) for like 6-7 years and they loved it/had no issues whatsoever.

The only experience I have with the JGC is my in-laws have a 2007 that just turned 35k miles and needed $2k in repairs this last trip we took last week.
It looks like brand new, but needed a power steering pump, steering rack and all the shocks and struts were shot.
The shocks I get, age.... The steering not so much, but it is older. They've kept up on service and checkups meticulously at the dealership.

In the last 2 years their health has been failing and they barely drive anymore at all. When they were using it, they were driving it with a blown power steering pump for who knows how long.... Old people. They thought they were just getting weaker with their health issues. So when I noticed it I had the dealer inspect everything and the steering rack had excessive wear as well.max225 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2019 11:51 amWhat happened with the rack ?CorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2019 11:33 am

I don't know anyone who has had significant problems with their WK2. My friend's air suspension works perfectly still and get used by his all the time because she's short and he removed the running boards. Those seats look like the ones in the 300S which are basically SRT-lite seats AFAIK.

Makes sense, fluid leak, led to overheating of pump led to wear. Interestingly I had a PS leak as well on my JGC, it ended up being a $50 hose I changed myself.CorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Wed Oct 09, 2019 12:08 pmIn the last 2 years their health has been failing and they barely drive anymore at all. You are a sick man.[user not found] wrote: ↑Tue Oct 08, 2019 11:02 pm Drove a Taco TRD Off Road today and a T4R TRD Off Road today.
4R is fucking comfy. Seats are great. Tons of room in the 2nd row with the driver seat set for me. Taco is the exact opposite. Seat bottoms too short, too close to the floor, and no adjustability.
4R is too damned expensive, has mushy brakes, and is saddled with an antique transmission.
Taco is fine on price, I've found the ideal truck...

But it just isn't comfortable for me.
Man, I hate to even bring this up...

I never should've gotten rid of it. I drove to the moist south and back with zero comfort issues whatsoever, it has heated seats, the better stereo... the only shit part is that the headlights suck.

Rain has been steady all day, both passenger side footwells are bone day.
I don't get it.
