I don't post there much. Too much IMO. Only place worse is the new balance and jean shorts forum.Apex wrote: ↑Tue Nov 20, 2018 10:36 amI need to create a sig on the colorado forums linking this place.[user not found] wrote: ↑Tue Nov 20, 2018 10:35 am
Just gotta throw some their way and see how they react.
I always put a link to my DFD garage thread in my sig on other forums - I've been tracking analytics, and we do get hits off of it.

I took it to Radwood Philly, and I think more people took pictures of the license plate than they did of the actual car.
I drove a new 2019 RF. Those things are nice, especially with the bump in power. I just have to laugh at the division it was created with the owners. It like the 04 GTO/05-06 GTO division all over again.[user not found] wrote: ↑Tue Nov 20, 2018 10:30 am Too many other forums get when someone offers an alternative way of thinking.

I thoroughly enjoyed driving the ND, and it is such a fantastic upgrade in looks over the NC.[user not found] wrote: ↑Tue Nov 20, 2018 10:41 am The ND is serious doe. It's so incredibly rare that an automaker cuts weight AND size for a next generation car. It's the car of my people.
Ha ha. Fair enough.
The GTO has quite a bit done to it. I bought it as a roller and brought her back to life. It has an aluminum 404 stroker with a stock LS3 topend and all of the typical bolt-ons, T56, and a built rear end with 3.73s. I might take it to the track one of these days.
The El Camino was also bought as a roller. It has a Vortec 355 with a Crane 2032 camshaft, Vortec heads, and FiTech fuel injection. It also has a 2004-R and a 3.73 posi. I recently threw on tubular front control arms, a CPP 500 steering box, and Blazer spindles and brakes. It's a comfortable street cruiser.

Interesting build on the GTO...must be pretty solid with the stock LS3 top end, and you've got room for improvement later on if you want.
How do you like the FiTech fuel injection? I've heard a lot of good things. Your El Camino build is pretty ideal dude. I'd love to do something similar for a street bruiser. I would love to buy a roller and bring it back to life.

The GTO is solid. She's just shy of 500 at the rear wheels with that stock topend. I absolutely could add more power, but I think I need to address the stock T56 before I get too ahead of myself.
I like the FiTech unit. There is a good group on Facebook with knowledgeable members. Since my setup isn't wild by any stretch, I haven't had many issues with tuning it. I think most of the issues people seem to have stem from their inability to not wire shit up like a monkey and their overall lack of understanding how EFI works.
