Factory aero kit, same interior as mine.
Not a JCW though.

Might actually have to show that one to the wife. It's about minivan time for me, but I'll lose my shit if I don't have a fun car. This would do the trick and I could still but a seat or two in the back. No crackers back there, though, shitheads.

It doesn’t ... you’re comparing a Porsche to a mini for one and You said 40k for a “comparable” one. While this isn’t perfect it’s pretty close.Detroit wrote: ↑Fri May 07, 2021 9:39 amA 5 year older BASE for $5k more kind of proves my point...max225 wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 8:54 pm

Similar miles, and similar conditions and if anything this a better “value” because it was double what the mini was new and is within 5k now.

Nobody wants to drive a base Boxster regardless of price. A supercharged Cooper S? and it's cheaper.max225 wrote: ↑Fri May 07, 2021 11:21 amIt doesn’t ... you’re comparing a Porsche to a mini for one and You said 40k for a “comparable” one. While this isn’t perfect it’s pretty close.

Totally agreed though. I'd rather 944S/951/968 all day long and twice on Sunday before base early boxtering.Detroit wrote: ↑Fri May 07, 2021 11:39 amNobody wants to drive a base Boxster regardless of price. A supercharged Cooper S? and it's cheaper.max225 wrote: ↑Fri May 07, 2021 11:21 am

An early base Boxster slots between a Camry and a V6 Mustang in my desirability hierarchy.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Fri May 07, 2021 1:00 pmTotally agreed though. I'd rather 944S/951/968 all day long and twice on Sunday before base early boxtering.

This is the equivalent of a "racing minivan" yes they can "do it" but you never take a luxury suv off road for a reason. They are packed with fragile electronics + expensive ass parts that can leave you stranded if you're more than 100 miles from Fled's Luxo Service.Apex wrote: ↑Tue May 18, 2021 11:41 amExcept Cayennes can do some legit off-roading.

I'd never trust one of these far off-road, especially of this vintage. that they're capable

$12k and cheeese colored.
Butchered stereo the HK is one of the best stereos I have listened stock.
And warm air intake.
Also about wheels. Bummer that someone sort of “personalized” ie ruined it. That’s a pretty rare color

Everything that was going to break has probably already broken and been replaced.
I like the short bus color. That’s the color I tried to buy from [user not found]. Sadly it fell through. Pepper white is my favorite color for minis though.
They are entertaining cars. They are not really drivers cars, just kind of “fun” putt around mobiles.

Yea I am not even going to respond to that bullshit. Calling minis not drivers cars is sacrilege.[user not found] wrote: ↑Wed May 19, 2021 11:03 pmI think that's selling the brand a bit short - they're certainly more driver-oriented than the vast majority of anything else available at the price point.
My wife's 2015 Cooper is an engaging car to drive - I always have fun driving it. And the sport seats are fantastic.

Sat in a restaurant this evening and stared at my “non drivers car” for a solid hour and loved it. At least 4 other couples/people walked by and stopped and looked at my automotive piece of shit that is good for nothing.
Then drove it back through the mountains with the active exhaust and listened to the crackles and pops. It was joyous.
I it. Nothing comes close for 20k.
