Factory aero kit, same interior as mine. :impressive:

Not a JCW though.
Out of all the ones posted this one makes the most sense to me in a price vs. condition graph. It's pretty much showroom. Easily modified to make more power if you want, fun af. I'd probably enjoy driving it more than my plastic fantastic.
Quite tempting...

Might actually have to show that one to the wife. It's about minivan time for me, but I'll lose my shit if I don't have a fun car. This would do the trick and I could still but a :baby: seat or two in the back. No crackers back there, though, shitheads.

I dunno about that. My mini depreciated a solid 30% even though most cars appreciated in the last year.
R gens are just all either beat to shit or in junkyards or both. They are getting quite rare in nice shape
No, I'm talking about that R zil posted. It's a brand new car for $11k. A damned Boxster in that same age/mileage/condition would be $40k now?

A 5 year older BASE for $5k more kind of proves my point...

It doesn’t ... you’re comparing a Porsche to a mini for one and You said 40k for a “comparable” one. While this isn’t perfect it’s pretty close.
Similar miles, and similar conditions and if anything this a better “value” because it was double what the mini was new and is within 5k now.

Nobody wants to drive a base Boxster regardless of price. A supercharged Cooper S? :megusta: and it's cheaper.

:howdareu: Totally agreed though. I'd rather 944S/951/968 all day long and twice on Sunday before base early boxtering.

An early base Boxster slots between a Camry and a V6 Mustang in my desirability hierarchy.

This is the equivalent of a "racing minivan" yes they can "do it" but you never take a luxury suv off road for a reason. They are packed with fragile electronics + expensive ass parts that can leave you stranded if you're more than 100 miles from Fled's Luxo Service.

I'd never trust one of these far off-road, especially of this vintage. :neat: that they're capable :doe:

It's all pretty reversible without much effort. First MY is the biggest concern really. :iono:

Everything that was going to break has probably already broken and been replaced.

I like the short bus color. That’s the color I tried to buy from [user not found]. Sadly it fell through. Pepper white is my favorite color for minis though.

They are entertaining cars. They are not really drivers cars, just kind of “fun” putt around mobiles.

I think that's selling the brand a bit short - they're certainly more driver-oriented than the vast majority of anything else available at the price point.

My wife's 2015 Cooper is an engaging car to drive - I always have fun driving it. And the sport seats are fantastic.
Yea I am not even going to respond to that bullshit. Calling minis not drivers cars is sacrilege.

Sat in a restaurant this evening and stared at my “non drivers car” for a solid hour and loved it. At least 4 other couples/people walked by and stopped and looked at my automotive piece of shit that is good for nothing.

Then drove it back through the mountains with the active exhaust and listened to the crackles and pops. It was joyous.
I  it. Nothing comes close for 20k.
