I trust you guys with my vehicles, as opposed to some random cuck from Turo.

Looks normal for a Paceman?

2 Door Countryman basically. I think they're super :neat: and would be a pretty great "do all fun vehicle" for my purposes.

:notbad: I don't think I've ever seen one of those/knew it existed. Kinda :neat: , I'd rather a regular Cooper but given where you live it could be a perfect four season fun car that still offers utility.

I think stuff like that just doesn't sell here, no real reason to pay the premium for the AWD and higher ride height in no snow land.

Yea it is sort of :amazing: how many product/trim/exterior/interior color variations mini does as a company. It is fairly rare to see one that's exactly like another.

So I sent the woman to do the Oil change on the mini and see if they can do the B fluid for under $200. Upon her arrival the oil change quote went up to $129.99 from 99.99 and they are trying to do spark plugs at 35k miles.

She ain't dumb though and giving them shit...

:dillerman: scum strikes again. Sigh.

Mini is back, brake fluid and oil changed for $292 after tax. Cheaper than the original $399 estimate, :tits: knows what she’s doing.

While she was away I changed the oil on the 247k mile taco with some cheapo shit. Only took 10 min and it was simple AF didn’t even need to lift it.

Nothing wrong with cheap shit. Both Amazon Basics and Walmart SupeTtech compare very favorably in his tests to major name brand oils.

I believe the Walmart stuff is made by Shell.

Clearly it's not the full fat Pennzoil Plat though

Apparently Costco/Walmart/penzoil oil is made by the same company

Well, the universe seems to be telling us not to go to the Keys/fly...

There is a hurricane coming in, :doge: is sick and we think he has kennel cough which is contagious so we can't board him, and we were still kinda :notsure: on flying. All of that said, I won't be trying out a MINI I guess. :ohwell:

We may also be out the flights, fortunately they were only $60 each.

You have a garage now and spend you life replacing baseboard. Just change the oil and b fluid yourself like a Hero of the SR?

I always had a garage, the oil change parts cost nearly what mini is charging. So it makes sense to do it there. It worked out :)

We have the free maintenance with the JLU, but man, it feels like way more work to :dealwithit: at the :dillerman: than just do it myself.

When free is done, I will go back to being a car port hero for sure.

Yeah, the universe is not on your side.

The keys will still be there... I think. :doomed:
I don't think they will be destroyed by any means, but it'll be rainy and we wouldn't be able to do anything inside anywhere obviously, so we would just be sitting in a hotel.

:ohwell: not flying is for the best. We just had a lapse in judgement when we saw the $35 flights.

This weekend. Tropical storm will cause rain the entire time. Yeah, I was ready to fly but also am sort of relieved not to be? :iono:

We are going to just head to the Outer Banks instead, hotel was cheaper, we can drive, and it'll be sunny and 60-75 :notbad:

I don't see a difference.

:disappoint:

But not surprising... declining brand + all the money is going into EEEEEE

Article also has a clear typo. How is an Iconic JCW cheaper than the Signature.
