Green car made of scaffolding with a VW powertrain?Dbest wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2019 12:13 am I thought you guys would appreciate this ugly fuckin piece of awesomeness that I stumbled across at Cars and Coffee Saturday.
It's a longitudinal 1.8T FWD engine/trans setup out of B5 with a big turbo rear mounted in a tube chassis on air suspension. This thing has to go like hell! I love the roof scoop force feeding the intercooler. Such a badass little car.

I've been trying to find some more info about it, I talked to a guy that knows the owner. He said the dude built it all in his garage at home. It's a built motor with a GT30. 400+ at the rear wheels.max225 wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2019 10:59 amK04 though or nah ?Dbest wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2019 12:13 am I thought you guys would appreciate this ugly fuckin piece of awesomeness that I stumbled across at Cars and Coffee Saturday.

Sounds like it's ready and willing to kill all occupants.
I love it!
Really cool that he was able to register it, especially considering it has those $9 headlights.

At the Pull-a-part yesterday to grab some Miata parts and look for some stuff for the Silverado. You never know what kind of gem you'll run across.
You know those new expensive as f0ck tailgates that Chevy/GMC has with the fold down fold down flip up magic shit?
I got the replacement for that. Sponsored by Lowe's Lawn and Garden.

Does anyone know what kind of car this is? Some friends that we pet sit for have a slew of random old shit (husband is a personal mechanic for a few rich folk in the Houston area). They're moving to Arizona once they get their house over there renovated, and I've got a hunch that he's not going to want to drag every car in his back yard across the country. So I might as him for this or if I can buy it. I'd straight up rework the whole thing from the ground up and possibly look into a rotary motor or something super small (let's face it, there aint much room in this bitch). But it could be an awesome project.

I think a friend of mine figured it out for me. We think it's a Berkeley. He said it's likely a little Triumph motor. I said I wanted to throw a Rotary in it because it's likely all that will fit, then he suggested a Busa motor. Make it a prehistoric locust BRAPPPPING away.
Apparently they weight like, 700 pounds. LOLOL
I fucking want it

All good, but that "cutie" probably lives in a 300 sq foot apartment and sleeps on top of 18 month old empty pizza boxes and subway wrappers.
But would still :plow: doe.. just move the trash and pump and dump
