In all honesty, season 3 is properly done.

My turkish friend who also lives in North VA dated a chinese girl from beijing whose only here for masters. He took her to istanbul, and she didn’t like the city mostly because of how the road infrastructure is shit compared to Beijing and after watching that, I can totally see why, but honestly
Also english translations are VERY similar to ones in Turkey, one of the public boat transports (aka Vapur, look it up) wrote “prohibited from entering” instead of Do not enter. It’s like they put way more effort which what Chinese people are known for, especially for their education and careers, and Turkish people (i mean people like me who are more civilized types) are also not far off from that either, just better at balancing fun in the mix.

So I finally watched the GT car episode where they took a trip from Georgia to Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan's language is also very similar to turkish, about 70-80%. I noticed 2 things that are very similar. One they got the translation wrong, second the renault james picked out was the car I grew up in as a toddler

Time to bring this thread back from the dead.
I just watched their latest special (called lochness), its under season 4 or 3 (damned amazon prime) and on episode 3. Probably one of the best specials Ive watched in a while with the old top gear combined. Totally recommend.
Also those who play forza horizon 4, the places they went are veryyyy familiar to the game. Granted they have passed through Edinburgh. But when they manually made a DIY bridge to cross a river with their cars, they arrived to what appears to look exactly like the fortune island, especially with the architecture and such.
5/7 would recommend

Also if you haven’t watched Clarkson’s Farm, you’ve fucked up. It’s brilliant.

It’s probably my favorite series of tv throughout the pandemic. It’s a serious show though, overall. The second episode is a bit dark but brutally honest and real. I really, really enjoyed it.wap wrote: ↑Tue Sep 07, 2021 8:19 pmI've been wondering if that's worth watching or not. Thanks for the feedback. It is "god" telling you that GT isn't that goodDetroit wrote: ↑Mon Mar 04, 2019 10:37 am Been catching up on GT, and I'm having issues with streaming quality.
It'll be nice and clear, then change shots and go to pixelated blurry crap for 5-10 secs then back to clear HD. Does that back and forth for the entire show, and I can't find any way to fix it. Everything online blames my internet connection, with is perfectly adequate for 4K streaming (and I just want HD). I watch a lot of other Amazon content with no issue, and all my other streaming apps are fine. Seems to be unique to GT for some reason, which sucks because a lot of the shots are gorgeous. Anyone run into this?
