I had to register it myself in DE since I bought it out of state, guy in the inspection lane at the DMV called it "oh like one of them malibus" and when I went inside to get the paperwork done/get my plate the lady called it a Camaro SS.

In case i didn't say hi yet, :whalecome: to DFD
They used to sell like 1500 SS a year US side, sadly we can't get them here unless we import them. I think they are fantastic cars, looks aside.
The CTSV is simular and offered in Canada so that's the answer. If only they were cheaper or i was richer.

Yup, I bought mine new during the last of the 20% sale they had in '16; flew out to Ohio to scoop it up. Loved the car, had some issues with it but over all it was fantastic. I just got tired of rowing gears on my morning and evening commute in the Philadelphia area traffic nonsense.Tarspin wrote: ↑Sun Nov 04, 2018 9:52 amIn case i didn't say hi yet, :whalecome: to DFD

First "mod" was ordering all of the Holden blackout trim pieces and then tossed a skip shift eliminator on it, delaership I bought the Colorado from gave me basically what I originally paid so it was time to send it off.

Did some murder in the AutoX today. Didn't take any video due to it raining in the first heat, didn't really feel like dealing with even setting it up.
Took 4/30 Pax, and 6/30 raw. CAM was the biggest class with 5 peeps and I was a second from 2nd place. Man, the truck that's in cam is BEAST. That big ass C10 is so bad ass. I think it's mainly fiberglass. Bitch HAULS and he knows how to work it.

Yes. I need new rubber it's mostly just in the wet for me. Would you like to buy some 50 AE with those tars? Mine will soon be for sale. The bronze would look dope on the green machine.CaleDeRoo wrote:Anyone else have some pretty serious wheel hop on slick pavement? I wouldn't mind tackling that this winter.

Also, I wrecked the C5 last weekend, spun right off the road into a farm ditch. Fortunately these things are robust as hell and no harm done aside from caked mud in some places.

They're PSS, just worn out from tracking. I am trying to wait until February or March to replace, should be fine now that I have the Kamry.Tarspin wrote:Get some proper fucking tars Daniel-san? What happened?
Glad you're alright doe,
The incident was pretty wild, me and my buddy were driving back from a hike. I pulled out of a gas station and was flooring it, it was hooking up just fine as the back tires are still good. after the shift into second I rolled back into it and the car just did a 360 off the road into a ditch. The temperatures were in the mid-40s so it could have been that, but it was crazy that it had grip in first gear and then in second just spun, I'm wondering if there was an oil spot on the road or something that I hit. Active handling and traction control were both on.... I tried to save it but it was just totally gone. Just put both feet in and prayed.

Wow that's nuts! I lost traction in second around a wide sweeping bend before but AH on and TC off and the car settled for me before i lost it into a curb thankfully. Nothing that bad ever on a straight away. Must have been oil like you say.D Griff wrote: ↑Wed Nov 14, 2018 7:08 amThey're PSS, just worn out from tracking. I feel like poorvettes carry too much weight at the front and rear causing unnecessary angular rotation (If that's the right word for it... angular inertia maybe?). My next poverty sports car will hopefully be mid engined mainly for this reason.
