I think I just joined the Dead Zone as that whole round vent kerfuffle was dying down.
I like my round vents.
I never had a problem with them :iono:

I think only kidney shaped vents should be discussed in this thread :gtfo:

You possess too much wisdom to leave the thread permanently IMO.

Still a bittersweet thing IMO.

I met the buyer when he was first looking at it 1/2 to New Orleans. On the way back the A/C wasn't working as well, it reeked of oil, developed some new squeaks, I was quite happy to pass it on.

What all are you doing?

I made some headway this weekend. Got the rear suspension all put back together with new ball joints, shocks, etc. Applied bondo to the cracked fiberglass areas but still need to paint them, changed the tranny fluid. Took off all the wheel well liners, cleaned up everything, cleaned the ground back there. I’m starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel... but I definitely need to do a full exterior detail now too, it is filthy from the track, covered in pollen, etc.

I can’t wait to drive the damn thing though :excite: I may take a solo dragon trip in May and just camp in a tent somewhere.

Or perhaps see about some track days. Did two days and February, signed up for two in September. Hopefully I can get out sooner than that.

Should have a review within a few weeks... only hang up may be getting an alignment during COVID. Desert also has the shocks and loves them.

Which parts did you get from :mahtroy: Anything good?

Covid alignment was epic actually. You can go at any point in time as wfh, all shops open, and taking appointments and giving discounts too! Best time for car repair ever

Seat covers, HID headlights, c6 z51 front rotors with yellow calipers all around IIRC. There's obviously lots of boxes and I forgot what half of it is probably. Those are the most likely to get done though.

Yeah, that was the plan, the KTM, C5 and E30 were just too many toys with everything else going on.
With the quarantine I've been rapidly knocking out big projects one at a time, I'll post more about those in the house thread.

I have a C6GS front sway bar (31mm), bushings and end links, all with 25K miles on them, for free.99 (shipping only) to whoever would like it. Cleaning out my garage during the extra free time. I replaced it with the ZR1 33mm front bar.

No, I'm not going to go ship it in the Corona dome, but when it looks like we might have this under control, I'll send it out.

USPS scheduled pickup has worked for me. I used it to send out my ebay sales last week and send some :poorvette: junk to Griff.

Shipping a sway bar is probably :waxer: :doe:

Get a quote from Matt Cody
http://www.dropshiplabels.com/

No joke he's saved me hundreds. If you like his price quote he'll email you the lable and you just tape it on the box and can probably have it picked up.

I once had a swaybar shipped to me in a pool noodle. Dude cut the pool noodle long ways and wrapped it around the bar, then packaging tape in various spots. Worked 5/7 and wasn't that expensive IIRC.
