Gah, yea...I bought them 2 years ago and they were an old model then. Mine were made a few months before I bought them so they're fresh, but I know the T1 Sport had been out for a while.

If I size the fronts to a 275/40-17 there's ten times as many options.
Pretty much the only tires I can find in both 275/40-17 and 295/35-18 are Mickey Thompson Street Comp but... Not sure about those.

Yea, 275/40 is the way to go for sure.
I read some reviews about street comps, they seem to be decent. Also check out the Continental Extremecontact Sport. Those should be available in the right sizes.

It appears they are. They'll be about $160 more for a set but I'll probably be happier with them.

Depends on your use. For a street car? The Mickey's are probably just fine.

You should go for the Mickeys then. They'll be fine.

check out simpletire.comCaleDeRoo wrote: ↑Fri Aug 16, 2019 8:52 am So now I'm going to turn the conversation to tires. I'm not sure if the run flats in my car will stretch to fit these wheels, and I'm not sure I even want them on the car anymore. Tire rack says there's no tires available in oem sizes which I know there are, but can anyone recommend a good street tire? I usually go PSS or s04 but those are $$$ in these sizes. All out grip doesn't really matter I'd almost prefer a more comfort oriented tire but a good middle ground would be nice.
they've got some damn good prices on tires. Got a set of 4 federals shipped for $430.

I have Continental Extreme Contact DW on my GTO and they are nice. The Nitto NT05 is also a great tire at a great price that I have personal experience with. The Firestone Firehawk Indy 500s have been getting good reviews, too.

The Conti were the only of these three suggestions that I could easily find in both sizes I need. Maybe I suck at internetting but I searched at work for 2hrs.Huckleberry wrote: ↑Sun Aug 18, 2019 2:35 pm I have Continental Extreme Contact DW on my GTO and they are nice. I'd roll on 255/40/17 and 275/35/18 NFG, probably grabbing the conti or the firestone.CaleDeRoo wrote: ↑Sun Aug 18, 2019 4:02 pmThe Conti were the only of these three suggestions that I could easily find in both sizes I need. Yep, 255/40/17 will work, that's what I have at all four corners on the Z06 fronts. I'm likely going to try to jump up to 275s if I can next time though, a tad more grip, especially in the back, would be nice.
