I saw a guy who put a small non intercooled turbo on his 3.23 truck just for towing and he loves it. My truck has 3.42s so it wouldn't be much better.Acid666 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2019 10:16 amIn the city I just use 1-4 and never touch 5th and 6th in the Z06.
I just recently started driving in Drive in my Silverado to see where the rpms are in 3rd because I'm aiming to get a trailer in a few months so I want to know if the motor is struggling at about 65mph in 3rd. The 3.23s made me not want to tow with my truck, but it doesn't get over 2,500 rpms so it's not too bad. I plan on going under the 70mph speed limit to 1) help my gas mileage and 2) make my tranny last as long as possible

C5 is one of few cars that can be low and scrape on everything, and still have major wheel gap.

i've got to utilize the JDM line to the fullest. Sometimes my lack of angle will result in me smacking the living hell out of my actual bumper. Wooops
interesting! even with the low pro quick jack blocks, I have to raise the car up about an inch or so.

I have a 2012 Blade Silver GS. I think the 19 inch rear Speedlines cut the gap without lowering. Even if it didn't, I get plenty of scrape on the stock setting. Reducing the car's utility further is not something I want to do. But I am . I lowered by GTI when I had it though!

I don't even think I have any in Desert Garage. I'll have to remedy that.Detroit wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2019 4:11 pmBro asks for pics and you respond with words?Desertbreh wrote: ↑Thu Apr 25, 2019 4:09 pm

I've got a little gap in the rear, but it doesn't bother me. This is with my other wheels with 275s and 315s
The square 315s sit a little differently in the front, but not by much. The pic is likely right after I pulled it off my quickjack and the suspension hadn't settled yet.
I run permanent pucks on mine and I can squeeze the quick jack in but any more drop and I'd have to kick the quick jack from the side to bodge it in.
