There are plenty of big aftermarket, like Rigid industries, Fox, AEV etc that actually get better than OEM.
Car Talk 5: The Juice is Loose!
Nothing with OEM but it's always built/spec'd for a particular purpose, which isn't always the purpose the vehicle owner may be trying to achieve. My Bilstein shocks are sooo much better than factory GM for example, they were probably just too much money to add up for the stock car. I'm sure you can get some incredible shocks for off roaders at a high cost that blow OEM out of the water.

I might be in the minority here, but I think the JL has more than enough power with the V6. Any more and it would be pretty easy to get into trouble with the suspension and high center of gravity. It's already scary when you're merging on a perpendicular road and have to punch it... adding in tire roasting power that might grip long enough to make you flip on your side seems like a recipe for insane insurance rates.Apex wrote: ↑Mon Jul 13, 2020 2:29 pm https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-qapT27KpQc

Our little 4banger will spin the tires merging from a stop like that. I don’t disagree with what you said, it’s far from necessary to stick 450hp in a JL.CorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Mon Jul 13, 2020 7:33 pmI might be in the minority here, but I think the JL has more than enough power with the V6. Looks interesting enough... the branding on the grille and the rear tailgate is a bit much for my tastes though.
Looks a lot like a Range Rover meets JL features.
The body mounted mirrors are a smart move.... but storing the doors in the bach is MEH to me... in that scenario you almost always have shit in the back. Great for showing off on the way to the mall though, if we ever go back to having malls.

I might reserve/order one though.... Getting kind of tired of the JL after 7 Arizona trips in 4 months.

I’m kinda liking them too. 2-door tickles some jimmies for me.

From what I just saw, I would 100% go 2 door. It looks massive enough and pretty meaty.Apex wrote: ↑Mon Jul 13, 2020 8:26 pmCorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Mon Jul 13, 2020 8:20 pm I might reserve/order one though.... Getting kind of tired of the JL after 7 Arizona trips in 4 months.

I’d love to see some specs like wheelbase and width. And does the 2door have a backseat? That’s fairly critical for me...CorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Mon Jul 13, 2020 8:28 pmFrom what I just saw, I would 100% go 2 door. It looks massive enough and pretty meaty.

I would never do a first year Fraud. Their track record is fucking terrible.
But. This is totally rad. And I highly doubt they will let it go with a major engineering screw up. Minor things yeah sure that’s to be expected like a button doesn’t work or a rattle or whatever.

This is going to print money for them.
Wifey wants one to replace Renegade. Press photos have mountain bikes hanging off the back. Lease is up July 2021.
They just sold her.
