After pricing out various 80/20 builds, I just went ahead and bought the prefab one. The market for this stuff is very strange.

They won't ship a seat to me from the EU but luckily I have 45 days at least before it arrives. Any actual racers have any brand preference for seats?

I can't recall ever buying anything off eBay.

Ended up buying a NRG seat. Looks pretty solid.

I think it looks good. The "alcantara" looks comfy. Hope it's durable. Really wanted a Momo seat but everything under 500 looked uncomfortable.
