$30 in PVC pipe and wood I made this setup http://www.gamespot.com/forums/system-w ... -27511410/

Took about an hour and has held up perfectly.
:notbad:

Seems like it would be a bit flimsy, but it's a soild option.

I still would like something that you sit on the ground in. The playseat challenge is perfect. Maybe I'll just stop being :scrooge: and get one...too bad I need a bunch of car parts.

Problem is, I don't have a ton of time to play. Not sure how often I'll get to :dock:

Doesnt really shake much. And im ripping on it pretty well. But if I had the money to blow on the playseat I would.

Looks like USPS lost my game. Was supposed to be delivered yesterday, wasn't, and is now "in route to carrier facility".

:notsure:

Might not be meant to be fellas.

I built that before I bought the playseat. It's on the DFD FaceTubeBook page. It's surprisingly solid, and not flimsy at all. If you're worried it might be, bump up to 1.5-2" pipe.

It'd be easier if I didn't have car parts to buy.

First chosen car was the 350r. I'll try and get to the online portion tonight.

An actual, non-folding Playseat is about the same price.

Also, has anyone broken 300mph? I got to 272 in my Aventador

I think tonight I'm going to hop in something with stupid power and go for the top speed.

I think the key is to find something with a speed rating of 10. My aventador, with a little bit of gearing tweaks, was able to hit 279 last night with a speed rating of 8.8.
