Hey, welcome!
Sweden, nice! Norway without the oil (according to my brother's Norwegian wife)

Cool rides and hope you enjoy living in the U.S., it's very a different lifestyle but is definitely more fun (imo) with the variety and cheapness of gasoline here vs EU (comparing to AT price). Though there aren't many cities here that can compare to Stockholm in beauty :/

I’m glad I won’t stand alone in front of the DFD Towing Jury.

That Fiesta is :neat: but why are they so difficult to find with Recaros in the US?
Tarspin wrote: Sat Jan 19, 2019 6:21 am What did the JB1 do for the R?

Also :disappoint: on the broken egg, it's a good example why beginner drivers shouldn't be operating 300hp things.
:baconator: Motorsport says ~40whp for the :gorf:

Never verified it myself but can say that it definitely brought back the :lolol: when using Launch Control after having gotten used to stock power launches.

I still have the box laying around if you wanna try yourself. :evilplan:
I'd love to try it and am thankful for the offer but think I'm going to keep mine stock. There are two other chaps with :gorf: that might be closer and interested in giving it a try! @dubshow @gberg2119

Because he automotive media said that the stock seats were good (they’re wrong).

Before I got my golf I shopped STs. At one diller that was supposed to have one (listed online, did not exist) and the :diller: tried to downsell me into a fiesta, it had recarbros.

They were nice, but too tight for me.

Name's Aleks [Alex] and I'm 27 with an unhealthy relationship with $20 burgers.

I currently live in Sweden and have a few years in Engineering at a certain Swedish company mostly known for their cars.
Found this place through [user not found]'s signature on TCL and would occasionally lurk, but decided to sign up as I'll soon relocate to North Carolina.

Car history is quite sparse but I've had a Clio RS 172, a Turbo Yaris R with DSGay (yes, I actually read the dictionary) that I stupidly got rid of to get myself in a sad company car [current].

Now I can't wait to get my slightly oversized butt into something fun again and try a day at VIR or Tail of the Dragon.

I’m fairly young & health, pending :fatty:
and I don’t have a family so if ever being given an opportunity like this, now would be the time to do.
It’s just a work visa still so not sure how long I’ll stay.

I’ve also been to the US several times and obviously it’s completely different from Sweden, but depending on your situation, I’d argue it’s not necessarily worse.

This anti Murica Fudge Yeah™ around here is really depressing. :thanksobama:

Not a fan but dat beat drop after a few brews - I lose it.

The dude passed almost a year ago which might explain the lack of relevance.

Fixed the smiley

But yeah, as much as I love Murica, and the comfort of its living, I pretty much avoid showing off my patriotism (ie. wearing murican flag clothing) anywhere else. Especially now in Turkey with the currency gap has recently expanded a lot, lot of people who like Murica (including some of my friends) are butthurt about it, but then again, the same shit happened in Turkey sooo. People seem to be more close minded nowadays about their people, leader, etc. with different ethnicities, we don't live in the '90's anymore.

and you're in sweden, how can u be :fatty:

I'm starting to think that the Swedes have better stereotypes then the Canadians do.

I've had a travel group visiting from Denmark and Norway just months ago, and they all canceled on the last minute visiting America, because of another temper tantrum our wonderful President had thrown out. One of them ended up going to South America, and I am not making this up.
