So, what do you think?

Should History, be taught with a six shooter on the hip?
Should one learn trigonometry from a man strapped with gats?

Just give all of the kids guns. They're cheaper than textbooks anyway.

It's very surreal that people think arming teachers is the answer.

Mandated training for their 8 weeks off from school during the summer and I'd consider it.

There are certainly armed teachers at schools. But as policy it is total fubar.

Popularity contests are not a good way to choose decision-makers, either.

How does your company determine its CEO, popular vote of employees?

Mrs. Snobel, the 5ft tall French Canadian grandma?
Mr. Daniels, the sandals-wearing hippie?
Mrs. Bodanis, the shriveled up 85lb Septagenarian?
Mr. Ballentine, the :gay: 60 year old who was more delicate than :crang: ?
:yeahok: 5/7 idea, Cheeto. :fullretard:

Governments are not for-profit companies.

Also, CEO's are sometimes elected by a board (Representatives) of select share holders (People)

Armed teachers, be it voluntary or involuntary, screams too much of a 'police state' for me to be comfortable with.

then arm the kids too. They can have shoot outs at high noon to settle disputes. Handguns only tho. They just leave stab wounds with bullets.

that right there is why we can never have a serious talk about guns. Elected officials attempting to throw legislation out are fucking retarded.

Article is lulz, but I'm trying to have a conversation about guns in school.

I get where you're coming from regarding teachers, I just don't like it, makes my jimmies rustle.

It's strange and one of the worst ideas ever made period. The schools should've done better to prevent tragedies like this. Like much better security, metal detectors, etc. High schools here are so damn easy to get into, you could take a shit and leave and no one would even notice. Only in America.

Just make schools super-max prisons instead. Everyone will feel safe then, ja?
