FBI investigtions won’t do shit other than regurgitate the accusations and the solutions
Then let them investigate nothing is the matter. It's how this process has worked for 30 years.
What's changed?
Waste of time+resources on politics. Nothing new I know, but I still hold that belief. I find it fairly convenient that re: timing of allegations

DFD. The forum where everybody makes the same choices and then tells anybody trying to join the club that they are the stupidest motherfucker to ever walk the earth.
interest rates are still at epic lows historically. I mean the federal fund rate is at what, 1.5%? (wiki says 1.75-2). It was between 4 and 5% during the clinton years...you know the shit that triggered the dot com boom and bust and started the slow bubble inflation of the 08 financial crisis.
and tell me we really recovered from 2008 with HISTORICALLY low federal funds rate.
Looks good to me. The .gov printed way more debt to prevent , and now they will service it for eternity at the newer lower rate. Dollar value keeps dropping and the debt becomes waaay easier to pay off. Im not saying it's the best plan but it's the one that kicks the can down the road and that's all that matters.

yea, eroding my future. thanks.
For sure bro, even worse for savers/old people on fixed income
This is turning into a circus. Reminds me of what happened to Al Franken.
1st allegation had merit and then when the other side saw blood in the water, people started coming out of the woodwork with outrageous stories. I mean I'm no fan of Kavannah but gang rape sounds totally made up.
would never let an employer have that much control into my life.
Yeah. It's no joke.
ha, good on you.
there is no fucking way id disclose that kind of information to an employer for a sub 100k a year job.
this is really insane, how is it legal? oh yea they the cops. they do what they want. if you don't get hired you should sue. ACLU would have a field day.

Not sure how it works up there, but here its alot of private gigs to get that OT. And thats time away from family..... who really wants to work 50-60 hrs a week?

Yeah I get it. Ultimately that played a part too in stopping the process.
I was offered and accepted a job as a financial advisor with Edward Jones but ended up renigging based on the hours I was looking at working. Upside was way more than being a cop in terms of money.
At this point in my life time with my family is way more important than money
