It's likely because we've been training the others to autocross.
This one's gone to her Furdad, but we've got a 2 week old kitten that just opened it's eyes so we're about to start teaching it to look ahead and then trail brake.
We call him Black Bean... Bean training pics coming soon.

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA
I'm picturing you going to Starbucks and getting a coffee or some shit, at 2am in the morning to take off. You finally get on 12 and start to play with your phone while the car does its thing and then you yell as it immediately pulls onto the first exit. LOL

First day was a DFL - only car in the class on non-200TW tires, and it was something of a test-and-tune day for me. New car, fresh sealant on the lot, it was very much like figure skating.

2nd day I felt a lot more comfortable, figured out tire pressures, still dealing with non-200TW tires but I did what I could. I beat the M3, but overdrove the car trying to catch the ND miata in front of me on RE71Rs.

I'd be interested to see how well you can close the gap on the ND with some stickier tires. From what I've casually read, with similar prep, the ND is a tenth or two ahead.

When I was doing it, at Warminster, it was 3 runs. But they were longer courses, like 50-60 seconds. 5 on a shorter course would be more fun, IMO.

I don't mind shorter courses. Less elements to fuck up and when you perfect it it's awesome. And more runs is always good. We did an endurocross and my god, 190 seconds of a course with only 2 runs is really not that fun. Wears you the hell out and you can't make more runs to be more conservative to fix those downed cones on other runs.

The last few times I've gone at warminster it was 4-5 runs but the times varied. It was usually between 30-50 seconds. I don't think I've ever done a minute course there.

I don't :member: what was on it in that picture, but here's the list of stuff it eventually did have:

-Multimatic inverted damper suspension kit
-22mm rear sway bar
-Brembo blank rotors and Hawk HPS pads
-(later) 17" wheels and Falken Azenis RT-615 tires (mondo upgrade)
-Underdrive pulley, stupid fucking mod, just made the lights flicker
-AEM intake for lolz but it ended up killing downstream sensors
-Ported throttle body
-Short shifter
-Polyurethane dogbone transmission mount

It was fun to drive but slow af. And honestly I never liked the suspension I put on it. Should have done the cheapo SVT suspension system, it was only like $240 for dampers and springs but NOOOOO I had to have the Multimatic shit. Which blew a strut in 15k miles. Garbage. Honestly the tires, rear sway, and shifter/trans mount mods were the best.

Only 4 runs.

Also, would everyone :stfu: about "run time."

It's autocross. :deadhorse:

I got what I wanted out of it. A chance to flog my car mercilessly and figure out how it responds at the limit without getting a ticket.
Oh 4 and then listing your best of the set, ahhh.

Yeah I mean it's a fun time either way.
