Oh wow... I guess I misread your post. That's an odd reaction for sure. Not going to lie the first jab wasn't as "pain free" as I expected for both myself and the Mrs.

Yeah if my work requires it, I’ll get it. Or if it’s needed to travel internationally, fine whatever. But as ling as nobody ever “forces” me into it, I’ll take my sweet ass time while we wait and see what, if any, long-term effects may start showing up.Huckleberry wrote: ↑Mon Jun 21, 2021 2:52 pm A friend's brother-in-law is quitting his job of 5 years because they are mandating the vaccine and he refuses to get it.

I'm waiting on long-term effects to reveal themselves as well. I'm in no rush to 'feel safe' or 'do my part', and those around me who are afraid to get the 'vid can now get vaccinated and protect themselves, . Ideally, I've got two years mentally tagged in my mind from the time large scale distribution of the new style vaccines were released and administered, so I'll probably get my jab next fall before flu season hits. I don't know if these new 'synthetic' vaccines are really worth worrying about, but the best way to be sure is to wait and see, and two years seems reasonable. If work or play becomes a shit-show, then I'll just book an appointment to get Pfizer or Moderna and be done with it.SAWCE wrote: ↑Mon Jun 21, 2021 3:08 pmYeah if my work requires it, I’ll get it. You also possibly have more protection than others since you had this thing and you're lucky to have minimal lasting effects.SAWCE wrote: ↑Mon Jun 21, 2021 3:08 pmYeah if my work requires it, I’ll get it. How's everyone been? Had an awesome trip to Hawaii and briefly Arizona with I'm in work hell now trying to catch up, but I'll post more on it later and try to catch up a bit.
Did I miss anything good around here?

Daily request for votes, this time with a small twist. While I don’t actually expect anyone to contribute money towards this, if you had considered buying any votes for me before, today would be the day to do so. Your donated money goes to the awesome Home For Wounded Warriors, and for the next 13 hours your donation will count for two votes per $, rather than the normal one votes per $, and no Facebook account is required for the purchased votes AFAIK.
Thank you again to everyone who has already voted and donated

Yoo, figured I would share some Hawaii pics. It was truly an epic trip. As Max mentioned, Oahu is truly so hit and miss. We had both an amazing time as well as some major mishaps with flight delays, COVID tests, traffic, weather, etc.
Exploring Oahu/Northshore:
Stairway to Heaven epic 11 mile hike... crazy rain/wind on the side of a cliff made us turn around a bit early, but still very cool:
I will add Kauai in a bit, that island is my new favorite, it is so adventurous, diverse, and beautiful.
