Don't look under your Fiesta.
Oh, I got a real good look when the car landed on top of me.

Ours has the deep water cycle.
That and they're usually less expensive.
Right now, front loaders are sold out everywhere, while top loaders are regularly available. :tits: insisted on a front loader, so that took some hunting, but we found one and got a solid deal.

I still remember the horror stories of mold in the first gen front loaders and we will need capacity for two adults and two growing boys. I'm sure top loaders have caught up but I have those old days opinions in my brain.
Most address mold with specific coatings, materials or cycles. Ours has all three of those things.

Also, 4.8 cubic feet of space is plenty for us, but I could see needing more for a larger family.

I'm sure there are big enough ones for families too. Truthfully I have almost no knowledge about any of the options right now. I like the idea of putting in front loaders and a counter above them.
My friend has front loaders and he stacks them (washer on top of driver), so that’s also another reason why some households choose them

Such a better solution than the old stacked top loaders.
:sawce: just adds those loads as bonus workouts.

That's what I did when we had a house. Was 5/7 to have the folding station right there.

I really wish we'd pound less on negativity and more on what makes life great. We should work on that, and I'll start.
I definitely am down for this but any time I try I get accused of :alpo: life

Of all the things this house has, a good space to fold laundry it does not. We end up doing it on the coffee table which I hate.
3000+ square feet and you can't carve out 10 for a table? :bruh:

Ok... Talk to me about front load. I am not sold on the concept.
Front loaders don’t clean as well as top loaders but they don’t wear your clothes out as fast because no agitator

McDonald's will have spicy chicken nuggets tomorrow. That'll be the best food news in Corning since we got a Dominos last Fall.

Jessi wants to find a top loader with an agitator.

Michele bought some frozen naan a while back that was epic. Naan FTW
We don't really have any good restaurants of any kind here, but I make some decent fake chicken tikka masala with Aldi stuff. A jar of the simmer sauce poured over some frozen chicken thighs in the slow cooker for 8-10 hours, plus some minute rice and frozen garlic naan, is a 5/7 meal for 1/7 effort.

Ideally add a decent 2x IPA with it.

Substituting "riced" cauliflower makes it 3/7, would not recommend.
Those Aldi simmer :sawce: s are fantastic. The butter chicken :sawce: is also very good. We have a jar of each in our pantry right now. :like:

Biggest thing for us is top loaders bang around when the load gets uneven...and it's almost impossible to wash big loads like bedding or dog beds more than one item at a time. We've had both, and front loaders work best for us. Uneven loads can still be an issue, but is not as bad.
Good to know. Our stuff probably has a couple years left in it so I'll be digging in more soon.
Front loaders supposedly use less water. One reason why you don't ever really see top loaders in Europe. Also, front loaders can be placed beneath a counter top because no door to open on top.

The side of the tub is shaped to where it agitates the water and the clothes. It's basically a series of angles that force the water in certain directions.
